But sure, keep wasting everyone's time.
The FACT is Sengun is built more like Kevin Love than a starting NBA center. He is not going to be a rim protector in the NBA because he just doesn't have the necessary combination of length and athleticism to get it done. But you will learn this shortly enough.
Richaun Holmes (6-9; 7-1.5; 242) - started 61 games at center this season
Mason Plumlee (6-11; 6-11; 238) - started 56 games at center this season
Cody Zeller (6-10.75; 6-10.75; 230) - started 21 games at center this season
Bam Adebayo (6-8.75; 7-2.75; 242) - started 64 games at center this season
Zach Collins (6-10.25; 7-1; 232) - barely played this season, started all 11 games at power forward but historically has mostly played center
Nic Claxton (6-10; 7-2.5; 217) - started 1 game at center but missed a significant chunk of the year and outplayed Jordan; if the Nets don't sign Blake he is likely their starting center
Domantas Sabonis (6-11; 6-11; 240) - plays almost half his minutes at center
To this we could add
Al Horford (6-9.75; 7-0.75; 246) - started 28 games at center
Daniel Theis (6-8; 7-0; 245) - started 51 games at center
Blake Griffin (6-11; 6-11; 250) - starting at center in the playoffs for a championship favorite
I fully admit that Sengun's success on defense hinges on his athleticism, and yes extra length could be helpful, but there are plenty of regular starting centers, and way more players who receive significant minutes at center, who have similar height and wingspan measurements. So I don't think his size is a limiting factor in him becoming a good starting center.
