i don't want to down talk Davion too much, i think he has a clear path to success in the NBA as a POA defender and a guy that can come in off bench and run some half court sets for u...but unless you envision him as your primary playmaker or an outlier shooter, his best role in the NBA what the role Pat Bev has been for the majority of his career.

really this is just about how high ur willing to draft Mitchell...i think lotto is crazy, imo the highest point he makes sense is #20 to Atlanta, other than that its too rich...if ur drafting higher I just think you need to aim higher for a potential outcome.

if it's Mitchell lotto vs. guys like Butler/Deuce later in the 1st/early 2nd, I'd take Butler/Deuce everyday.

I think it's pretty encouraging for dubs fans that their taking a long look at Moody and seeing his IQ in situations. Not surprised Giddey and Jones got green room invites.

Agreed. I believe that Mitchell is going to have a good NBA career. Pat Beverley is a 9 year veteran, after all. I wouldn't draft Mitchell in the lotto (I'd actually be upset if my Pacers draft him at #13) but if he falls later in the draft then sure. His path for success is easier than most. The chances of him really flopping are low, imo.

Agreed, it's all about relative rankings. If Mitchell was ranked where I think he should be ranked or even lower, I'd be talking him up because he does have this clear path to being a useful NBA player despite all of the concerns. But as it stands and with his hype, it just feels like I have to constantly talk him down – that is, push back against glowing reviews – even though I actually like him with the way he competes.

Absolutely. I can totally see 40+ guys that have the potential to have a long career in the league in this draft. It's a class that is both strong at the top and has depth throughout.

I do believe he's a good, genuine kid. But it wouldn't surprise me in the least that he has his list of preferred destinations and the Kings aren't on it.

Hard to argue with that reply.

Looks like the Dubs are zeroing in on Moody, Mitchel and Jalen J at #7 and I'm guessing Kai is for 14.

Has anyone heard anything about Roko Prkacin? He left the Combine pretty early and has only done one workout that I've heard of.

Is he shutting down the pre-draft process?

Jalen Johnson at 7. Other three are pick 14 candidates. One of them might last if someone steals their Roko P @14 plan

Or all 4 have same agent and set up a dinner for all their guys.

looks like it's trending more and more than Barnes will be top 5 and Kuminga will drop out of the top 5, some even suggesting Kuminga might drop out of the top 10.

Toronto eying Barnes at #4 apparently, might prefer him to Suggs
