Very impressed by Al-Farouq Aminu's 7'3 wingspan.

It's freakish, I rated him #5 last season before he said he was returning and improved a lot. He played with a WF squad that relied on him to win all of their games. Ish Smith played well but was only effective with Aminu. Watching tape on Aminu this season, I seen a major jump in his ball handling and court vision. His post skills improved as well. He seemed to work on the perimeter more than in the post. His a solid number 5 on my list. Has such amazing potential, GS could get a franchise player to go with Curry in Aminu.

I have watched Ibaka. I have talked to other about Ibaka. No one in there right mind thinks Ibaka is in the same league as Favors. That's before others watched more tape and the combine. Ibaka is like Hassan Whiteside. No one expects greatness but the tools are there.

Nope, your just trying to sell him to me too high. Your basically selling him to me like those Bulls fans with Deng trade value.

At this point Favors is just as raw as Ibaka. You seem to really be drinking the Favors kool-aid even suggesting he should be the #1 overall pick. He simply did not show enough last year to come close to meriting such praise. HIs stock would be higher if he was coming out of HS

LOL you really like this kid. BTW, what made Blake Griffin the #1 pick is going BACK to school. He refined his game. That's actually what Favors needed was another year in school.

He's athletically phenomenal as well as he had a .611 FG% as a freshman in the ACC. The best big man conference in the nation this past season. Griffin would be a top 3 pick if he left as a freshman, do not kid yourself. I was just listing the elite big men stats in the past five seasons as freshman.

same as Ibaka

Ibaka doesn't have 1/10 the talent Favors has.

Wow, I couldn't disagree with that more. Ibaka is and will remain a waaaay better player than FAaors.

Well except for every single person in this thread that has chimed in on this topic. Ibaka is going to be a stud; potential All Star. Favors will never be as good as Serge.

You really think Whiteside could shut down Lamar Odom in the playoffs as well as being the best defensive big on a 50- win team this year?

After reading the measurements, I think Favors has easily lapped DeMarcus Cousins for the #3 spot. In fact, knowing how the NBA values big men, I could actually see Favors passing up Evan Turner for #2.

A legit NBA 6'10" with a 7'4" wingspan and a chiseled 245 lb., all at the ripe old age of 18 -- that is Dwight Howard-esque. As good as Turner is it's gonna be hard for Philly (or whoever picks second) to pass up on a big man with a superstar upside like Favors.

Cousins was pushing 300 lb. (292) and had the second highest body fat (16.2%). That seems to legitimize the talks of his poor work ethic, which, when combined with his attitude issues, I think he could be the plummeter of the draft. I don't think he'll fall to #10, but I could see him slipping past outside of the top-five.

you obviously didn't watch a lot of Favors this year if you're talking up his footwork

For a guy whose biggest criticism has been a lack of motivation/drive, Cousins coming into the combine 30+ pounds overweight with almost 17% body fat has to be a HUGE red flag.

That combined with Favors' excellent measurements pretty much drops him to the #4 prospect on the boards.
