Is this the same as the "all Duke players bust! Don't draft Irving!" thing from last year?

I'd love to see him on a Raptor uniform, he is a monster shooter and will fit properly with DeRozan and Calderon, also Valanciunas inside, and fellow Tar Heel Davis, fiu, the team will make the PO.

+1
It blows my mind how GMs keep drafting mediocre UNC prospects in the lottery.

Sure, dukies were being better

Not researching before you start typing is even more illogical. Brandan Wright, Forte, Sean May, Marvin Williams, I could go on and on. Ty Lawson is really the only UNC first rounder in 12 years to live up to the position he was picked at.

Some more names for the list. Wayne Ellington, Rashad McCants, Tyler Hansbrough. All that work Dean Smith did building up UNC as the worlds greatest NBA talent factory has been undone. Now it's the place 5 star prospects go to make the NBA and then wash out of the league. Sure, some of the names are on the list because of injuries or mental issues, but ultimately I think Roy Williams system just doesn't prepare them for NBA style basketball. Most of these guys are clearly very talented, and they are very successful at the college level. Then they get to the NBA and just suck. As Lawson showed there are exceptions, so it would be silly to completely write off any player because of the school they go to, but if I were a GM I would double and triple check my work before pulling the trigger on any of them.

I don't really know why, but everybody seems to forget Raymond Felton.

I like Felton, he was drafted too high but he's a solid player who has been misused almost his entire NBA career. He's not a bust but not really a big success story either.

if Barnes isnt scoring he doesnt contribute anything else to the game. cant pass for ****. roy williams called a timeout when barnes caught the ball getting ready for a fast break cause he knows barnes would screw it up. I'd take him in the top 10, not top 5 though

Agreed, I think you are someone that can read and comprehend. I said Lawson was really the only one that lived up to his pick. Felton has not lived up to a lottery pick but he is a useful player.

If you look back Felton deserves for sure a top10 on 2005 Draft maybe not a nº5 but it's no big deal, better players than him,

Deron
Paul
Bynum
Ellis
Bogut
Lee
Granger

Doubts with Lou Williams or Gortat.

Felton is a bottom 5 starting PG in the league.

Felton turns the ball constantly, runs offense terribly, and LaMarcus Aldridge is constantly doubled because Felton can't make wide-open threes. He's terrible. DJ, Teague, Conley, Chalmers, Jack, Holiday, Thornton, Calderon, and Wall are all way better. The only guys worse are Fisher, Nelson, and Harris.
