I didn't mean soft. Just physically I don't like his frame atm.

i knew what you meant, which is why i mentioned that he's coming off a game where he showed instances of making plays through contact.

So he's tough and can handle contact. Doesn't really change anything regarding his frame.

Frame is never an issue for the NBA. A summer in the league is enough to fix all frame issues.

Tyus Jones is the best PG prospect in this draft. Mudiay just screams high-bust potential to me.

Frame can definitely be an issue, but if you're a special player like Tyus Jones, you can compensate - like John Stockton did.

Can't play his way into rotation in China. Doesn't dominate the CBA.

But athletic point guards with great length has had a great track record over the past few years.

Since Russell is a SG, I'd say that Jones is the best lead guard of the bunch.

I agree with @noobcake that Mudiay has high bust potential.

Jones has instincts you can't teach and will be able to run a team at NBA level right now.

small with an inability to get buckets in the paint are a bad combination...

he's a good shooter and handles the ball well.. but he has a long climb to be a better prospect...

Stockton wasn't a force until 26/27 years old and even as a rookie he wasn't weak...

Rookie card -

John Stockton's weight room competitions against Karl Malone are legendary. The two never stopped working out. Malone obviously built for mass while Stockton went for lean muscle.

We were talking about small frames. Stockton had a small frame - similar to Jones'. And what does him not being "a force until 26/27" have to do with the discussion? He was good in the NBA from day 1. He was all-star caliber by year 3.

Inability to get buckets in the paint? I was under the impression that was actually a skill of his, considering his size.

This is just flat wrong. Mudiay was playing and playing very well before he got hurt in China.

dude....do you realize Mudiay has impressed every expert and scout and he's a lock for a top 3-5 pick?
His performance at the CBA was enough to win him a top 5 pick.
At the draft combine, it may even increase. He's a bigger John Wall.

I don't like prospects whose only 'skill' is athleticism.

And this viewpoint has produced a long history successful evaluations.
