Certainly talented enough. Dont think his game is college friendly though. Not at Cuse at least unless something changes.

Is he eligible to be in the 22 draft?

Thought Id drop this in here
Read on Twitter

Slater is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to recruit info like this. Looks like a lot of these players might be trying to avoid the possible 2022 super draft. 4 top 10 guys joining an already damn good class, next year should have a good amount of buzz.

As of right now 2022 maybe the draft that high schoolers can join. So if that stands, Bates will be in the 2022 draft.

Wouldn’t Wenbanyama be eligible in the same draft? Could be a modern Durant-Oden choice between those two. Also I really like Chris Livingston’s game; by the time he’s a senior I wouldn’t be surprised if he was considered the best 2 guard prospect of the past several years.

I see Wenbanyama as more of a porzingis type of player personally. He gonna needs to add some serious muscle if he's gonna go top 3.

From what I've seen of Badji, he's 'underwhelming' relative to the tools, sure, but the tools are craaazy. There's a degree of inherent value in that and obviously a ton of potential if he starts to live up to them.

I like the Porzingis comparison, roughly, for Wenbanyama as well. It's all there for him, he just needs to physically fill out to a passable level.

I'm all in on Cade and Bates as well, those guys are can't miss prospects, I think that's pretty unanimous right now though.

Who do people think will be named to the Nike Hoop Summit?

Makur Maker has already announced he's been asked to play.

As far as I can see, top internationals of that class -

Jonathan Kuminga
Ibou Badji
Usman Garuba
Moussa Diabate

Then maybe these guys?

Mojave King
Josh Giddey
Ben Mathurin
Ariel Hukporti
Roko Prkacin
Juhann Begarin
Kai Sotto
Aleksej Pokusevski
Khalifa Diop

And I got the class of wrong or any omissions?

Badji is bad and he is also lazy and old

None of the intls playing pro in good leagues are going to go, so expect guys in US HS plus guys like Sylla and Cazalon who play in Belgium

But no way Badji, Garuba, Hukporti, Prkacin, Begarin, Pokusevski, Diop etc... those guys aren't coming

He's improved his skill so much and is a lot more than an athlete. The handle has improved, the shot has improved along with the selection, stronger, bouncier, and rises to the moment on both ends. As of now has created a seperation between him and my guy T Clarke that i didnt think existed for a long while. Once those physical gifts pop on a larger stage there may be debate with Jalen, Cade, and Mobley since they may all be off the map bluebloods wise.

I like Jalen but there's no way I'm taking him over, Cade. Now, while i do think Jalen is exceptional offensively, i still think he has a lot of room to grow. For one, he seems to be out of control when he drives a lot. I've noticed that he has a hard time driving to his left on some occasions. Additionally, he needs to improve his shot selection. He seems to settle for a lot of tough mid-range shots as well as three's kinda like Anthony Edwards. Lastly, he needs to improve his motor. Jalen has all the tools to be a great defender but he appears to take a lot of plays off, mostly on the defensive side. That may be due to the fact that he has to carry such a tremendous load offensively but nonetheless i still would like to see him improve on that side of the ball. I see a lot of Anthony Edwards in Jalen. Both have similar games as well as weaknesses.
