OK, Chicago picks first, they take Beasley, Miami probably wants Beasley over Rose, but guess what, he's not on the board!!!

Fair enoughy, but I'm 90% certain that the Bulls will take Rose.

Do you think that Beasley's recent measurement will hurt is stock as an inside presence?

Not at all, His bench press was good, he's got good weight on him, he may be an inch short but his reach-height makes up for that. The thing that will ensure hes a great scorer in the league is that he has legitimate range. He wont need to score 100% of his points within 12feet, he can isolate and make defenders stick with him all the way out to the three point line, so different matchups will no doubt force him to play different styles of offence game-to-game, but wont stop him from being dominant.

I see him being a bit like David West, but with a higher ceiling.

As far the Rose thing goes, he came up shorter than expected too, won't fit with Ben Gordon, and again, won't solve the Bulls problems.

Makes sense.

Yeah, but the Bulls won't build around Ben Gordon. The guy is a sixth man in this league, and it will be interesting what Pax does with him this summer.

Pax is at a fork in the road no doubt. If he can't get Brand in a S&T I doubt he'll pass up Beasley ;)

Why did you change Detroits pick from a legit C which they desperately need for another G? :-?

You had it right the first time with Detroit taking DeVon Hardin, they will not spend a 7th consecutive pick on a G when they have a solid 4-gaurd rotation and the guard you chose was Courtney Lee. Unless Rose/Mayo fall to 29, Detroit won't be taking a guard.

I'm not sure on that one, some reports say they want Okafor at PF, trolling the Bobcats board the fans want him at center, with Larry Brown coming on board you'll be a half court team that's for sure.

I may be wrong on the Jordan pick, but I dont think they can go wrong with it for a few reasons:

If Okafor plays center this year Jordan can be developed behind the scenes a little with Nazr playing well, Sean May comes back and they have their PF spot covered, May was playing quite well before he got injured.

If they go with Okafor at PF they have a huge frontline, Mohommad/Jordan/Okafor/May is pretty imposing, they'll be a bruising defensive team and I think that's what Larry Brown will want more than anything.

I think in my first mock I had Omer Asik at that pick, I've read alot of Pistons fans comments, saying they need a SF (feeling Jarvis Hayes won't be back) and Courtney Lee was about all that was left, either him or Sonny Weems.

So yea, I think they -should- go for a legit big, but changed the pick because Omer and Hardin are slipping in alot of mocks lately and the fans want a SF, maybe Lee could be that guy.

Yeah we need someone to backup Tay, he really hasn't had a legit backup since Corliss Williamson left. But a Center is top priority. We've had Rasheed as our starting center and with Dumars trying to trade him, it's only basic need that Center is top priority.

Maxiell is only 6'7" although he is tough as hell, McDyess doesn't have the legs under him to stay in the post consistently, and Amir Johnson is still trying to learn how to be a post player since his growth spurt.

Jason Thompson/DeVon Hardin would be options 1 and 2 respectfully. If Joe got smitten with a SF in a workout, I could see him picking them but a guard is not on the radar right now.

I do appreciate you actually trying to look at it form our prospective though.

I think Jawai is big enough to play center, and with Mutombo in probably his last season bringing in another big body makes sense. Landry and Hayes are small power forwards, no way you have either of them guarding Dwight or Shaq.

We also have Scola, who is slightly bigger. As of right now, our front line is hayes, landry, scola, yao, uncle mutombo (who showed that he can still contribute 10-15min a game). I would say Hou's biggest need is addressing an athletic 2/3 to back up tmac, assuming Yao stays healthy for the entire year. But I'm not sure such a player will be available at 25.
