You should check out the full highlights. He has suspect shot selection and plays pretty bad defense. I do like his handle in iso situations and his ability to reach/grab for rebounds. Still a good prospect who'll hopefully put it together. They just took a loss to Richmond. Which I didn't see coming at all.

End of April you had Suggs 4th, (a tier) below Mobley and Kuminga (and obviously Cade). What changed that you now have him ‘clearly #2’?

Not that much about Suggs but more of me learning more about Kuminga than anything, I also think going over Suggs' tape I liked more and more stuff about his ability to get to the deep and manipulate PNR/mid-range, plus his pull-up, I think eventually it will all come together to make him a stud offensive engine type, which in the end carries more value to me than Mobley's profile

then he said this a week ago

Suggs is the high end guy but may be more of a mid teens type talent, nice toolset though

I don't follow High School prospects as closely as some others here but I like Gonzaga so I watched some Suggs highlights when he declared and I became really confused as to why he was ranked so lowly relatively speaking by draft experts on Twitter cause it was evident from the very first offensive possesion that the kid had "it". The handles, the change of speeds and directions, the elite PNR ability and pull up game. These are things that separate the elite perimeter prospects from the good prospects and Suggs clearly was way above other prospects in these regards. He will definitely end up top 5 if not top 3.

Have been diving into some Jalen Green tape for an upcoming Film breakdown but isolated some on ball defense in the 2019 u19s. Really impressed by how well he guarded on ball in the tournament. He stayed really locked in and his physical gifts are obviously super impressive.

I’ve been intrigued by Jalen Greens potential for a long time.

I don’t know how much of a hyperbole it might be that his comparison is “Kobe Light” in this mock draft,

https://nbadraftroom.com/p/2021-nba-mock-draft/

We’ll need to find out if he’s closer to a Kobe Bryant or a Demar Dorozan. Because that’s a massive difference.

But I’m definitely looking forward to seeing him play in the G-League whenever that starts. Along with Kuminga.

What's everyone's thoughts on the younger Bagley brother? That jumper is looking pretty smooth. Lots of issues with him still though (scoring inside the arc has been rough), so not sure he is going to be a OAD. But if that jumper stays all year, I can see him going in the 20s.

Been so enamored with J Christopher it's hard to see another prospect on that team. I do like Bags jumper though. That system Hurley is running gives me 90s NBA vibes where they're playing 5 different games of one on one at the same time so it's hard to get the translation read like I want. But a jumper carries you quite a bit regardless. I'm keeping an eye out.

Trendon looks ridiculously good it's like night and day vs last year, he's hitting his 3s, his FTs, much better seeing the court and passing.

Ziaire Williams is looking really good in the early going. Shot looks wet, handle looks good, and he's moving the ball really well.

For NBA Draft Rooms Top SG’s of this class, I think what will keep Jalen Green ahead of Brandon Boston Jr. is his defense and potential of having the ultra rare “Mamba Mentality” genes.

1 - Jalen Green – 6-5 – G League
2 - Brandon Boston Jr. – 6-7 – Kentucky
3 - Terrance Clarke – 6-6 – Kentucky
4 - James Bouknight – 6-4 – UConn
5 - Keon Johnson – 6-5 – Tennessee
6 - Moses Moody – 6-6 – Arkansas
7 - Josh Christopher – 6-5 – Arizona State
8 - Jaden Springer – 6-5 – Tennessee
9 - Scottie Lewis – 6-5 – Florida
10 - Mojave King – 6-5 – Australia
11 - Josh Primo – 6-6 – Alabama (Canada)
12 - Juhann Begarin – 6-4 – France
13 - Bryan Antoine – 6-5 – Villanova
14 - Marcus Zegarowski – 6-2 – Creighton
15 - Chris Duarte – 6-6 – Oregon
16- Aaron Wiggins – 6-6 – Maryland
17 -Ochai Agbaji – 6-5 – Kansas
18 - A.J. Lawson – 6-6 – South Carolina
19 - Nahziah Carter – 6-6 – Washington
20 - Quentin Grimes – 6-5 – Houston
21 - Kyree Walker – 6-4 – Phoenix, AZ

I love Moses Moody's translatable skillset and might be his only supporter here on the board but OVER Josh Christopher? I can't.

Christopher should be #3 on that list after only Green/Boston

Really love how smart Ziaire has been in his debut. Not forcing anything...with his length, skill & shooting, he doesn't need to...and just making "the right decision" every time.

also the fact that Richardson is nowhere to be found on that list is crazy, also I'd classify Lewis/Clarke as SFs tbh...kinda of a bad list whoever these guys are.

he had a few bad TOs in the first half but this has been good debut, not as crazy about him as some of the other guys at the top of this class but I get the intrigue

I'm half watching so I must've missed them; cause the TOs I caught weren't the kind that bother me. He just looks so smart & unselfish whenever I've focused in.

Z Will for Stanford with a strong game.

- his shot is butter off the bounce and catch

- his Defense is excellent and very high IQ

- his passing is really good. Right read and pass. Secondary playmaker good.

- he is ridiculous weak as in can’t bench the bar. Called for traveling due to his defender playing him tight when he hadn’t even dribbled yet

Looks and plays like a super weak Tracy McGrady. He’s a project but has some big upside.
