On offense. He's absolutely amazing on defense. He's the best defender in EuroLeague. I don't only count one side of the court when judging players.

He has boxed out not once today and was responsible for receiving 3 3pts from blocks and 3 direct penetrations 1on1. Are you watching the same game?

If anything, he has solid offensive game, 7pts, couple of assists.

That's Ricky Rubio in FIBA competitions, that are all lower level than current EuroLeague. He would be miles and miles from "dominating" EuroLeague.

What I understand is you complained endlessly last year about Llull, despite he was better last year than Doncic is this year, and now it is Campazzo. Simply because you don't want anyone but Doncic doing all the ball handling.

Glad we are on same page that Campazzo is bad. I complained about him even before the season. Not even worthy of mention in conversation between Llull and Doncic. Rock and a hard place and all...

You are also right that Lull was absolute ball hogger, but at least he produced (and Luka was green). I'm sure the ball distribution between him and Doncic would be more equal this season if he was healthy.

Campazzo is a solid ACB player, nothing more.

16.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists - that was at age 23, on a bad EuroLeague team. It's really nothing at all that impressive.

I don't think Gallinari and Deron Williams jumping onto Euroleague teams to get paid and play themselves into shape for the upcoming NBA season, then immediately being the best players on the court, proves what you think it does.

Gallinari was not doing much of anything when he was in EuroLeague that season. His team was fairly awful. Williams didn't even play in EuroLeague...he played in EuroChallenge, which was the 3rd tier league. That was not like the old Korac Cup or the current BCL, which were/are serious competitions, despite being the 3rd league either.

EuroChallenge was a complete joke, and somewhere around the 12th-14th best league in Europe then. I don't think prime Deron Williams averaging 25 points in Europe's 12th-14th best league is anything to brag about myself.

As you can see, the league was called EuroChallenge, not EuroLeague. Far, far worse than EuroLeague level.

Yeah, it was paid training camp/vacation for them, but by all means keep desperately clinging to those numbers like they're meaningful.

It's called double standards. Every NBA only fan claims any stat for any European player in the NBA - even if their coach never gave them a chance to play.

On the other hand, no stat that makes an NBA player look bad in Europe, or in a game against a European team, is ever allowed to be counted by the same NBA only fans.

It's a huge hypocrisy and a huge double standard.

So yeah, those stats will be counted and are meaningful, for as long as NBA fans continue to say that no EuroLeague or EuroBasket game counts, continue to say no games between NBA and EuroLeague teams count, and continue to use examples of European players that NBA coaches purposely benched because they were European, as examples of "Euro busts".

Can't have it both ways. If those stats are not meaningful, then neither are the stats and examples NBA fans typically use to knock European players. Some of us are not playing the double standards game. If you want to do so yourself, then feel free to go ahead and so so. But they will be pointed out, and exposed by actual facts and real stats. And all the counter can be to actual facts, is a rather lame excuse of, "those stats don't mean anything".

Ha I did chuckle, but not me amigo. I'm much much uglier, hence why I'm still single and post so much. Plus this guy said Dirk was lucly, bite his tongue. Dirk is a legend and the 3rd best PF ever.

I'd like to see more ongoing discussion about how he's doing in Euroleague games in this thread, rather than repeatedly beating a dead horse.

And yet another Heat fan jumps on the Doncic hype train just because he's from the same country as Dragic

So did the kid play tonight amidst this injury talk
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

No. Real has lost and has now must win game on Thursday. I expect Luka will play. But like I said before, you never know with grade 2 muscle strain.

He probably will play tomorrow.

Campazzo apparently heard me during half time and upped his game yesterday apparently :) Too bad his teammates didn't follow...

It would be a shame if Doncic declared and then withdrew because he didn't win Euroleague.

This talk about him wanting to win the Euroleague so bad that he might stay if they dont win it this year is complete bull****. Of course he now says that he is only focused on winning the EL trophy, saying anything else would be stupid. But in the back of his mind he is thinking about NBA for sure and will go there after this season no matter the result. The only thing that may keep him in Europe is a catastrophic injury.

He already told Slovenian Federation that he will be in New York on Draft night and might not be available for June NT games, which means he has already decided to play in the NBA next season. This seems like an irrational fear just like 2 years ago when people were speculating that he will not play for Slovenia. This also had nothing to do with reality.

Zalgiris won and Real lost, good day for me. Tomorrow is head to head, could decide 4th. place.

if Real finished 4th in regular season, what’s still very realistic, they just need to win last 3 matches, they will be favorites in playoffs and in F4 without home team the chances are more or less the same for all 4 teams.

Panathinaikos has more chances to be 4th than Zalgiris. Zalgiris has brutal schedule.

Yes, Schedule is brutal, could easily go 0-3 at the end, but one game at a time with hope.
