so listen, there was a small window there where I let Wembanyama's injury potential to give Scoot a crack to insert himself into the #1 conversation. That's over. Victor is starting to fill out. It means his body is likely going to be closer to Gobert than Chet Holmgren. A Gobert body but better lateral quickness, hops and much more skilled? Wow. No chance he doesn't go #1. I think several teams will be joining Utah in shamelessly tanking with how good Victor and Scoot are.

0 chance he doesn't go #1, even with the risk injury

vw will go #1 unless he suffers either a serious injury at some point in 2023 and prior to the draft or deals with nagging foot or knee injuries that keep him out of games over the course of the season. otherwise, he's a lock.

Gobert is 1 in 30 guys of his size that have been able to stay healthy. To predict Victor to have that body is like predicting some second round pick is going to have a Jokic/Butler type rise in the NBA.

Victors game will be like Porzingis but better in the NBA. Now healthy Porzingis is the number 1 pick. I think we all agree. The health concern is too great for me.

But if Victor can avoid serious injury prior to draft then yeah he goes #1.

If Victor can stay as healthy as Gobert then basketball academies seriously need to investigate the french diet and how it differs from their recommendations.

News I missed, Keyontae Johnson signed with K-State. Really hoping that he can resume where he left off, he is an NBA talent.

Gobert takes excellent care of his body. In fact, he's kinda vain about it.

He's holmgren, but he's 7'5" with 8'0" wingspan instead of 7'1" with 7'6" wingspan. So taller, longer and a little more filled out with possibly a little more skill - at a younger age.

So yes, He's a freak, he's the #1 pick and we should all just root for him and appreciate him..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

If Keyontae is healthy, is he a first-round prospect?

not just about health. he has to show that he can produce and that he has nba game following the long lay off. imo, he was borderline before the heart issue.

Not even being sarcastic but he could be the best prospect of all time. We've never seen anything like this.

I am moving Wemby to tier 0, LeBron territory.

If he blows out his knee ACL, still taking him #1. Back or foot, we'll see.
