What did he do again? I don't remember?

just his little nod like "ok ok i see you" then he had a look on his face like he was considering the same. I looked for a video but couldn't find one anywhere yet.

Has he finalized his schools yet? I've heard Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and UCLA.

some observations from the USA vs greece U17 game:

diamond stone was dominant in the first half. he made himself available for dump offs and short pop up jumpers. his post game is just ok, but looks more comfortable facing up where he can use the threat of his jumper. he really needs to work on his passing though. he made some really weak, floating passes cross court and out of the post.

malik newman's not a PG and i don't like his chances of ever becoming a primary ball-handler. he attacks well in transition and 2ndary breaks, gets into the paint pretty much anytime he wants to, but he doesn't look to pass enough. i'd rather have other players initiate the offense and be the primary playmaker.

josh jackson seems to be reprising his swiss army knife role that he played last yr for the U16 team. he's the team's best defender and passer. made some brilliant plays off the bounce and in transition. played solid d with active hands and had back to back put back jams that put team USA back into control.

tatum played decent. im still not impressed by his athleticism, but the added strength has improved it some. made a few mid-range j's which seems to be his bread and butter, more so than the long range shot.

caleb swanigan is the most physical player in the 2015 class. dude is strong, posts hard and moves bodies on the interior.

giles looked decent. he didn't get a whole lot of touches but when he did he showed off his nice interior passing ability.

on the other end, g.papagiannis showed really good touch on the interior. he doesn't always post hard, but when he got his touches his left shoulder hook was unstoppable. he displayed a nice little pop up jumper too. i liked his passing ability too. shows a good feel for when to get rid of the ball which makes him tough to double.

v.charalampopolous has that typical old man's game. unathletic, but long arms. knows how to induce hard closeouts with fakes and attacks. if the defender doesn't bite, he turns his back and looks to wheel around to the hoop. moves well without the ball too. his lack of athleticism will be tough to overcome though.

Swan looked a lot slimmer the last time I saw footage of him is he smaller and in better condition now?

Did G-Pap look like the best post player on the floor?

idk. all i know is that he looks strong as hell, knows it and has soft touch too.

papagiannis needs to do a better job establishing position and if you look at his legs he has no excuse. he flashed some nice fakes and had the easiest time getting off his shot, especially his jump hook. he's got different releases on it too. he wasn't matched up vs 7 footers though.

Jaylen Brown has such a good shoulder on his head and he is a Kobe stan lol. Honestly think he joins Malik Beasley, Tevin Mack and Turtle Jackson at UGA

Caught some of the u17 usa game yesterday. Im going to watch some more and watch todays game but I have to say I wasnt overly impressed with what I saw. Josh Jackson had one real nice play where he juked a guy on the fast break followed by a behind the back pass around the next guy to the open man. Really was nice but for all his hype was hoping to see more out of him. He got blocked alot around the basket. Giles I didnt see anything from on offense besides dunks but defensively he was impressive. Malik Newman definitely isnt a point right now like its already been said but I dont think there is denying that he can really score. Tyler Fergerson has a nice Jumper. Want to see some more of VJ King, Henry Ellenson I wasnt in love with the shot. Swanigan is a big dude but dont love him, Stone had somm really impressive rebounds, explosive jumps to grab them, Rabb didnt really do anything and was not impressed by him. If the next 2 years top guys are Rabb, Stone, Giles, Jackson etc I dont think that bodes well for a strong draft. Im thinking 2015 is going to be better now than the 2 after. Maybe my view will change after seeing some more, just my initial thoughts.

Some of these sites see players for the first time in August when the players are running on fumes and make ignorant and off base assumptions off a bad game or two..

I also feel some try to be contrarians just to get attention..I realize maker can be polarizing especially his nba prospects but nbadraftnet saying they wonder if he will even be an effective college plAyer seems like they're just trying to get attention..
