This kid is just elevating his stock by the second. I'm already convinced he's a better prospect than Smart.

Dude has me sold, I'll take him over Smart and Exum. He's a star in the making. His best fit would be either Celtics or Bull. Imagine him next to DRose

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

This is the guy in the top 10 I'm on out, looks like a good example of where a wing's athleticism is overrated when he doesn't have the ballhandling to slash with it. Plus questionable feel for the game.

Even the shooting I need to see a bigger sample size. For his amazing 3p% he's also barely over 70% FT, on barely any attempts mind you (15 FTA) but the 3pt% is hardly more meaningful

wow

chad ford is an idiot. westy makes his living driving to the rim. zach doesn't. in fact, i haven't seen zach take his man to the rim once. even curry or allen drives to the basket. right now, zach is more like an athletic redick. if he doesn't learn to drive he'll be easily guardable.

How is Ford an idiot when he was quoting scouts that called him Westbrook with a jumper?

I haven't been able to watch LaVine dribble the ball even once in traffic. Has anyone else seen him? And if so, how are his handles?

he doesn't look to attack enough to tell. he has some seattle shake in his game but he's only used it to create space for jumpers.
he's obviously a better ball-handler than mclemore who he's been drawing some comparisons to.
kid was a former pg. i think he can handle the ball a little.

He doesnt look like someone who would be able to handle the physicality of the next level. I could be wrong, he is still young and could get stronger but he looks to me like his best shot is at the 1 and im not sure he would be able to. You see him as a 2 and guarding 2s at the next level?

that's because he needs to get his weight up. it wasn't long ago that he was a 6'1 PG.
i think he's most definitely a 2.

to start,,,he's an idiot for quoting them, when anyone with a smattering of common sense can see that Westy makes his living attacking the basket. and i take that back about redick. i think he's an athletic allen(especially if he keeps up his insane shooting.

he grew 4" in his senior year.

he's missed 3 or 4 easy dunks because he couldn't lift. like pre season, he literally fell short on 2 break away dunks because he didn't reach the rim - and they were right after he did a nasty two-handed tomahawk slam. lst week he spun past his man and was at the basket for an easy slam,,,,,didn't lift high enough.

i think he hasn't adjusted to his body YET.

Klay Thompson 2.0 w a Doug Christie handle for a SG.

He will be better than Smart in the long run but Smart will be drafted higher.

Look, a position other than Guard, he's probably not ready for. What he IS ready for, is to spot-up shooting and fast breaks. His length will also help guard smaller guys. However, you're right, he doesn't have the strength to bang up with stronger competitors. He can still do a lot.

This. From what i hear from this kid his ceiling is looking a lot like Allan Houston. Lights out from 3 and can shoot step back shots right in his opponents face. But, doesn't do much else and rarely takes it to the hole

Isn't he like Derek Anderson was?

He is definitely very interesting just for the fact that you almost never see these middling high school prospects known as athletic dunk highlight reels come into college basketball and shoot this well this fast. That said, he's shooting 61% from the floor and 50% from 3 so far and I really doubt that this hot streak is sustainable. I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump into the lottery though.
