Scheduled to work out with Lyles for Indiana. Don't think it would be a stretch for Indiana to take him at 11. What about David West as a comp?

Not a fan of Portis, average reach and terrible hops. When he catches the ball down low and tries to score, he'll be blocked by NBA level wings.

You're thinking of Kevon Looney. Bobby Portis is not going to get pushed around in the NBA, dude is strong and plays with a motor

I think Pistons are looking for a big that can compete right now and I wouldn't be surprised if it were Portis or Kaminsky at 8.
Detroit loved Portis when he worked out with them.

hoping the grizz can move up and get him somehow . he's already better than Stokes , Jam Green & leuer . the perfect player to come into the mix , i think with his skills he could play next too marc or zbo like we wanted Leuer to do .

I have been hyping Portis for a long time.

He's the real sleeper in this draft. Long, good defender, adequate rim protector (good for a 4), smart, plays hard and can knock down a jumper.

He's almost 'can't miss' IMO and has all star ceiling (a bigger version of Paul Milsap)

The Markieff Morris comparison is a good one, but Morris is more 'fluid' while Portis is more physical. I think it's kind of a close comparison, just different physique and style of play.
