You are totally wrong with this one. Scary that Booker has NBA length and is still growing.

I made that post before his combine measurements & I'm still not buying his 6-8 wingspan. I saw some sketchy measurements from the NBA combine, like his teammates Dakari Johnson who all of a sudden has a 9-4 standing reach and wingspan also grow 2 inches over a couple months.
You can crouch and measure lower, than your dimensions actually are, but how can you cheat and end up longer?

I just feel the people doing the measurements fcked up.

Can change your shoes or add some type of padding inbetween measuring height and standing reach.

With his short arms, you're only left with a J.J Redick comp.

That is fine, but then by your own logic, all NBA prospects and players' measurements are not valid , including Klay's.

So nobody in the NBA is as tall or as long as they really are, dispite what ever the combine measurements say.

Stauskas has the same wingspan, same vert, bit taller, better ball skills, was elite shooting off the bounce, same reach and his agility score would be top 10 this year.....Booker is younger and has more mass ...not a crazy comp

Not crazy at all, compare both on FR year and you'll see how close they are (stauskas a little better actually)

Stauskas had better ball handling skills, but Booker is quicker and projects to defend better with those crazy agility scores.
Booker at 10+ is pretty good value.

Like I said before, Stauskas tested out great in the agility drill, not that it means anything for defense.

I haven't completely written off Stauskas, although he had a disappointing year for a 21 year old 8th pick.
But if one of them succeeds and one fails, it will be interesting, as we could only chalk it up to hard work, basketball IQ, and motor.

So after seeing him play, I still think there's a closer comparison to Bradley Beal than there is to Klay Thompson.

My guy who has ties to the front office with the suns wouldn't be surprised to see a Goodwin booker backcourt. Bledsoe is good but his olaystyle is conducive to injuries and Knight is more a sixth man on a really good team.

It's like Cal told Booker he wasn't allowed to dribble at UK

I can see Booker being the starter at the SG in the long term, but Goodwin is an embarrasingly bad player and a joke as a point guard. Compared to him, Tony Wroten looks like Chris Paul.

I don't think the Suns will ever win 30 games a season with Goodwin as the starter PG

First, Goodwin is and never will be a PG. Second, I know it is early, but so many people here have already put their foot into their mouths.

Probably the 2nd best rookie now. Russell, Jokic, and Porzingis right behind though. Such an advanced player for his age. He's going to be a stud scoring SG for many years.

I honestly think Jamal is more of a complete package than Devin. Devin had the luxury of being on a stacked team last year and had wide open shots. Jamal creates the offense for himself more often.

Yeah, I watched the Suns play last night and was so impressed with Devin's ability to get out on the break and finish at the rim. Klay is exactly who he reminded me of. Kudos to OP.

The exec actually felt devin is the one developing point skills, exhibited by his near 7 assists when Bledsoe and Knight were both out for a extended period of time. He's a fast developing player. When he came to UK he wasn't a very confident player, nor was he in great shape. That's one reason he slipped because he hit the freshman wall due to conditioning. But he was also 17 most of the year so maturity factored.

Do you watch at all? Murray comes off screens a ton, his own offense? maybe in close-outs but he is not a good iso player, Booker showed some ballhandling and way better quickness than Murray, he is also bigger
