Had a good game tonight. 18/11/5 with 2 blocks.

He (along with Little) are the top 2 guys in my 'will be a lot better as an NBA player' category. People soured a bit on him because he lacks that explosive first step but he's a smooth athlete in my opinion and always moves with a purpose/deliberately. He's got good length, is strong, can playmake and defend. I think he's a legitimate top 12 guy in this draft.

That's my take. He has enough deception, pace change, and counter moves to get to his spots a little like SGA.

Completely agree. I don't think he'll be elite at getting to the rim in the NBA but I don't think he'll find trouble getting space to get his shots off. I think he can legitimately play both the 2 and 3 too.

I didn't realize how much his shooting would be a swing skill going in to college for him. I think he fixes up his mechanics and he starts looking like a pretty well rounded prospect with a real knack for the game. Without plus shooting his archetype suddenly looks a lot less appealing though. For now, I'm staying optimistic with that development and holding his stock pretty high, but if he struggles all season that will probably drop him fairly significantly for me.

Romeo will be a stud. Very coachable, no ego, plays within the offense and doesn't try to force things. Whoever ends up with him will be very pleased.

still hasn't been able to consistently nail the 3 ball but his overall offensive game is impressive.

23/7/3 per 40, 7.5 BPM, 60 TS%, 25 PER. All his stats are trending up.

Probably a lottery pick, but if he doesn’t develop he’s more of a Roleplayer from the bench. Kind of Evan Turner-esque.

now shooting 33% from 3 on 8 attempts in conference play

still not where it needs to be, but a huge jump from his ~26% earlier in the year.

I think hes top 2 or 3 player from this draft. I believe he will be a really good 2 at the next level.

Lol he’s kind of polarizing. It’s pretty much guaranteed he’s going top 10, not because I want him to, but because he has a reputation and hasn’t played badly enough for his fans to give up on him.

Having said that, I belive his shot will come in time. The thing that matters more is his defense. His offense is already prettt good, he’s a lot like Gilgeous-Alexander in that he’s calculated and takes shots he can make. Like SGA, his game isn’t flashy, but it’s effective. I don’t think he’ll be a superstar at all, but there’s a chance he can be really good player, he has a lot of skill that a lot of players spend their entire NBA career trying to learn. He put work into the game and he’ll continue to do that in the NBA.

Is Brandon Roy the comp or Nicholas Batum?

I thought of that comp for him last night as well. I think their are a few players that have that potential comp comming into this draft.

It shows that is a potential archetype wave of the future. These guy alot look like they can get to the rim via strength and conditioning they also all seem to be fairly good open court passers. Good rebounders in this class from the heavier than usual wingsm drafts. Alot of these guys look like a three point shot away from being blue Chip prospects.

His offensive style reminds me a bit of Joe Johnson.

Langford is low key super agile and creative at the rim.

Kid is starting to hit the 3. Too bad he's stuck on a squad that hurts the eyes when you watch them on the offensive end. Absolutely no spacing, ball movement, ball reversal, etc. on IU. Romeo will thrive in the spaced out NBA game. I love that he is a master in the P/R but can also move without the ball and use screens to get open. Usually it's one or the other with a lot prospects. Lately he's hitting that 3 ball so IMO his stock should be rising, but he may not go where he should because of lack of post season exposure. Is a DeMarr DeRozan comparison out of the question?

He actually deserves the DeRozan comparison. Maybe more competitive on D but I don't see a plus defender potentially

He’s definitely skilled and crafty as a iso player driving to the rim. I just don’t know how impactful he will be doing it at the next level cause he definitely does it at a slower pace when I watch him. Like he lacks the burst to blow by everyone so instead does it with craftiness.

he's not the most explosive guy but I wouldn't mistake methodical for slow

Def has some Tyreke Evans elements to his game in that regard, albeit with less pizzazz and flash.
