Well, I don't think Duval is even first-round pick and if he gets drafted then only because some team will fall for the perceived upside of a highly-ranked (in HS) freshman. Being better than Duval doesn't really mean much when it comes to being a lottery pick.

He's an awesome combo guard for today's NBA. I really don't see how guys like Gilgeous-Alexander and Duval or even Sexton are better honestly.

Remember Josh Hart last year? Everyone who did mocks had him as a 2nd round pick. He got picked 30th, and he's having a very good rookie year. I was shouting about Hart being underrated last year the same way you are about Donte. I think we'll both be proven right to some extent.

They have a different game. Josh Hart specifically was one of the best finishers at the rim in the class on the fast break and he was also a great rebounder at his size. This Villanova team is more likely to pull-up from 3 on the fast break. DiVicenzo is like Dion Waiters with less of a handle and a better three point shot, which is similar to a less athletic Tyler Johnson.

I'm not using Duval as a barometer for the lottery, just that DiVincenzo needs to be talked about more considering he's nowhere to be found on mocks or draft boards.

His best quality is his passing, he’s a good passer.

LOL the same top 10 where you have Mursa and Troy Brown? Your top 10 is getting pretty crowded.

I love all the johnny come lately's who ony watch the tournament and then come on here proclaiming things left and right about prospects. If you watched the Big East tournament you would've been wondering why Donte was even in the rotation, let alone if he was going to be drafted. He couldn't hit a shot 3 weeks ago. 7/24 from the field including 2/11 in the championship. Good thing for Nova he woke up and got out of his slump, but that's how Nova was all year. Usually Brunson carried the mail, but just about every night a different guy would step up and have a huge night. Last night it was Donte, the game before it was Pachal.

I wasn't comparing Hart's game to Donte's. I was comparing them as vastly underrated Nova guards. Sorry, not seeing the Waiters comp probably because I've always seen Waiters as overrated with poor shot selection.

Guy has the makings of a Jimmer Fredette, Gordon Hayward, Doug McDermott, Ryan Anderson, Pat Connaughton, Kevin McHale type player.

First thing first, I laughed when I read his tweets. I have a hard time how anyone can have much of a problem with his tweets. Im guessing he was a 15-16 year old that liked rap music, shocker that he would quote rap lyrics in a tweet... Im sure all of us here did much much worse at that age haha. And its not like he was some stud recruit that was being groomed and was being taught on how to act in the public's eye since he entered high school. This is all he has to say when someone asks him about it, "I was young, dumb and immature, I've grown up since then." Boom thats it, doesnt even have to apologize for it.

I can see him surprise declaring and winding up going in that 8 to 17 range and a few years down the line he looks like this draft's PG, Hayward, Kawhi, Klay, etc.

I see a dash of John Havilceck and a pinch of Paul Westfall.

You're both off base here. He's obviously a cross of Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy.

In all seriousness though. I really like his jump shot but he has always been a pretty bad FT shooter and this was his first year of being a good 3pt shooter. I like his size and athleticism, just curious how consistent that jumper is going to be in the NBA

Especially since he isn’t the biggest guy.
