He's always been a better prospect. Bamba won't have the impact his length suggest he should

I mean Bol at least might be a difference maker on one end if he cleans his shooting up and knows how to play in a team construct, Bamba's D is pretty rough and his offense doesn't approach Bol's in terms of ceiling

They’re different types of players, but Bol is already better.

The draft snobs once again taking a massive L on another player. Great bump

Ya...his skill, feel, and touch combined with that absurd length is something really unique and special. I don't see him busting unless it's injuries and if he can add some more muscle to that frame then Porzingis might be looking for a new nickname.

He is looking better than Bamba ever did in college. Very surprised because I was honestly convinced he would suck big time.

Yeah, call me 'racist' idi**s.

He is from the same country as Luol Deng who was not exactly a bust although he is a garbage player now and Sudan is not a horn of africa country. I think.

He has a point though. It's science, not racism. All these strong, explosive athletes are from Western Africa, or were taken as slaves from Western Africa. Eastern Africans are very good at stamina intensive sports, long distance runners for example. Are there exceptions? Sure.

But I will agree that by default I see all Eastern Africans as no-draft players. Genes matter.

Not one team has shot over 40% against Oregon yet in 5 games.

They are playing a jumbo-lineup with Bol, Wooten and White, a lot of size, and they have Kigab from the bench, and Okoro, they also haven't played any team with a NBA athlete, Syracuse has size but Brissett and Battle are terrible finishers, Chukwu is a 0 on offense, and most of the bigs from the other teams, like Green Bay, are like 6'6 and 6'8, and still Bol has had issues generating space for himself in the midpost, obviously he gets his shot off because he has a like +7 inches adv at least but dunno, it's hard to really tell with him, his lows are still unplayable level low at the next level

Iowa has some size and they limited Bol, at least on attempts (Garza is far from a defensive player but at least he is 6'11, and both he and Cook are strong, but below the rim guys, and not fast)

I he had a high release ( a la Aldridge) and gained space of the fadeways I would'nt worry, but as Fischela said, he is making those because he has a crazy height and reach advantatge.

Also, he needs to gain some massive strength, or he will get pushed out of the paint while posting in the pros. We need to see some games again legit size and length, maybe he can show us he can do the same as he is doing now. At the end of the day, he will always have some kind of advantatge. Porzinguis and Durant can just shoot over nearly anybody.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

He is gonna get his shot blocked and pushed in the post by long armed/strong wings, let alone bigs

Porzingis and Durant have that high release point and arc, Porzingis also has a way bigger frame (has always had wide shoulders even when he was 15 and a spaghetti physically), that help a ton generating space when you are turning around or hitting low with the shoulder to rise up
