This is the kind of guy whom gets underrated ever year and winds being really good in my opinion. I would take him very high.

this whole idea that you decide whether someone should be a 4 or a 5 strictly on if they can shoot 3s is nonsensical. if Precious can't shoot 3s in what world does that make him more valuable at the 5? great, now you have a 5 that's both undersized AND can't shoot 3s.

Doesn't Adebayo play the 5 because of Olynyk and Meyers? I remember when they went vs Philly there was talk of how he defended Embiid so pretty sure he defends the 5s even if he's maybe listed as a PF.

Yeah If he is there the Mavs take.him with the hope that he turns into Harrell

tankathon shows him on the 31st at the moment:)

Hard to see him making it that far down when Boston has 3 picks. They love switchability on defense and he fits that well. Can't see them passing on him 3 times.

wasn't really the point, the point was that you're not automatically a 5 just because you don't shoot 3s.

given the lack of prospects with the same versatility potential... along with the size and mobility in the bag of tricks... he is a late lottery to 20 lock imo

No, but if you're not a 5 and you don't shoot 3s it puts some pressure on spacing because unless you have a 5 that can shoot (which don't exactly grow on trees) then it can hurt your spacing. So if you can't shoot and you have some traits that project well at the 5 then teams are gonna gravitate towards playing you there.

if you're a 5 and can't shoot 3s it also hurts your spacing, makes no difference, that's why Whiteside sucks despite the fact that he's 20/10 guy

Precious is a 4 that can play some 5 in certain matchups, he's not a full time 5.

Maybe he'll develop his skills, or maybe he'll be a somewhat better version of Jordan Hill.
