Is Barnes at 3 being talked about? Genuinely curious if you've heard some things.

Sims, though I have a feeling he'll be shooting up draft boards. If he goes after the lottery he's a great candidate

He's the best guard prospect in this draft after Green and Suggs. He has high basketball IQ, can pass, shoot, and defend. He's also one of the youngest players in this class. If Moody and Wagner are off the board at 11 I hope the Hornets draft him.

Springer would seem to be an odd pick for the Hornets. Isn't PG the one position where they already have someone in place for the foreseeable future?

Rozier is on the last year of his contract, I don't think the team is going to retain Monk, and Graham is better suited for a 6th man role. I see Springer as long-term backcourt starter with LaMelo.

Interesting. I see Springer as a PG who will want to play PG and be mad if he has to play the 2, he'll be playing out of position, etc.

If you guys want a 2, I'd go Bouknight, Moody or Keon Johnson..

i guess just base it off consensus rankings / where guys are projected to go..

I'd say:

EJ Onu
Neemias Queta
Charles Bassey
Isaiah Todd
Malcolm Cazalon
JT Thor
Roko Prkacin
Vrenz Bleijenbergh
Springer (if he falls out of the lotto)
Sengun (if he falls outside the top 15)

i'm gonna steal some of those and add a few:
Queta
Bassey
Todd
Petrusev
Wieskamp
Ayo
Hauser
Huff
Julian Champagnie
Kessler Edwards

Alperen Sengun if falls out of top 10, Usman Garuba if falls out of top 16, Isaiah Jackson and Roko Prkacin if falls out of the first round.

IMO absolutely the highest floor in the Draft, as he is already an NBA-level defender with the perfect defensive C archetype for today's NBA, but his ceiling is IMO considerably low in comparison to other players available. I don't think he can fall in the steal category like ever.

IMO williams has shown a lot more defensive intelligence, intensity, focus and just overall ability while being very quick and agile and just as long.

Offensively he has shown promise as a three level scorer but with a little work should be able to quickly find a role as an athletic 3 and D role player whether on a bad or contending team.

I'm only seeing 2 level with Ziaire's scoring, as he struggles to finish at the rim, especially when bigs are there in the paint contesting the shot - his lack of strength really hinders him there.

And even in mid range and from 3, he hits some shots and is smooth with the pull-up, good form, high release but very low shooting percentages last year. somewhere in the 20-30 range sounds about right for him..

We will see. I think the strength will come. I’m confident the shot is close too.

I always think of a steal as a guy that is late 1st or 2nd that ends up a good nba player. My best guesses for that are:

Jared Butler
Trey Murphy
Bones Hyland
Duece McBride
Moses Wright

Let me guess: because their first names look and sound kind of similar and are, as demonstrated here, obviously difficult to spell for people?

I never like to do these before the actual draft but based on current mocks Barnes and Murphy would be my picks.

The more I watch him, the more I think he could be like the modern-league version of Andre Kirilenko. He just needs to add strength and tighten his defensive technique. He's got the size/length and mobility, and he plays with a high energy level.

It looks like he's 6'10" with a 7'2" wingspan, and is up to 208 lbs.

Williams is physically underdeveloped. He really needs to work on his body. That said, I saw what Robert Horry looked like when he first came into the league, so... maybe it will work out.
