probably as good of chance as anyone right now not named Flagg, he looks legit legit

What kind of PG archetype do you think goes #1 in today's NBA? I know John Wall, Kyrie and Cade did, but I feel like, with the number 1 pick, you'd still ideally want someone better than those guys. That's why I keep hedging that he goes no later than 3-5.

Basically, does Traore have to project to have a Trae Young/Tyrese Haliburton-like impact on an NBA offense? I'm not mentioning Luka because he's just nowhere near as big.

John Gonzaga, from Stockton?
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Reminds me of Fox with the speed and suspect shot.

Nowhere near as fast or explosive as Fox.

He looks like Cade 2.0 more than Fox, but I need to watch more.

Fox had a suspect shot as a prospect (26% from 3) and Traore didn't shoot well last season..

Way quicker, more explosive than Cade..and also smaller..Traore measured 6'4.5", in shoes. Cade is 6'6".

Cade also has more of a bag for creating his own shot, he's more crafty..gets to his spots and creates shots with combination of size + strength + craft.

Traore on the other hand, has much less craft, much less of a bag..less of a dynamic shot creator..he moreso just turns on the jets and relies on his impressive burst to blow by defenders and get to the rim. Doesn't have much in terms of crossovers, spin moves, counters, etc..mostly just does straight line drives all the way to the bucket..has less strength than Cade, and about 1.5" shorter..

His movements and shot reminds me of HS LeMelo Ball. His quickness and how he navigates screens reminds me of Dennis Schroder. His BBIQ just based on the clips looks decent at worst. I have to watch a lot of full games to see how he's like mentally.
