I view Scoot as a prospect on the John Wall level. Likely a top 5 to 10 PG who makes multiple all-star games. Not quite the best PG prospect in years but a very talented and exciting player who came into the league a bit raw and needed to develop his jumper a bit.

If I were VW, I’d read that as “Scoot is hiring a hitman so I’d better beef up my security”.

imagine watching these POs with Fox and Ja and not having Scoot #2 - who's actually an even better prospect coming out than both Fox and Ja.

Better than Fox? Yes I could see that. Ja, I would say no. Ja was running the P&R like an 8 year vet at Murray State.

Ja was also a more explosive athlete, better at getting to the rim, and better at hitting 3's.

Both Fox and Ja also have really good team context that allows them to be successful - they're both surrounded by good shooters, good scorers and their coach has designed the entire offense around making them successful. Scoot is gonna go to a really bad team.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Scoot in DC seems like the perfect fit. KP, Beal & Kispert can provide the spacing so Scoot can have the lanes to attack.

Yeah. That could be a really good fit. Hopefully you guys get lucky on lottery night.

95% of the NBA was "down" on Fox prior to this season.

Don't get me wrong I like Fox a good deal, always have, but also don't think two guys that were eliminated round 1 of the playoffs are really selling teams they have to take Scoot no matter what.

Nah, because he won't be awful. As long as he is a top 10 rookie for the first year or 2 people will hang onto the hope he will be good. Even if he is the 6th best rookie from this class people will say that is a good outcome and won't walk back their statements.

People are talking crazy guaranteeing he will be first or 2nd best player in this class after being rather average in the Gleague though.

Classic post by you, making stuff up because someone disagrees with you.

I have him 5th, been very vocal that is where I have him rated.

That 5 rating is very long way from being the best player in the class though. Very long.

that's a pretty good rating for an undersized player that can't shoot, finish, or play any defense.

for an undersized guard with overrated athleticism, bad defense, poor shooting and crap finishing that's definitely a good rating.

Yeah keep deflecting haha

Anyways, I doubt he will go below 3 in the draft because front offices will be too pressured to take him.
