jackson has way better ball skills. his handle is nasty for a SG (yes, he's a SG) and he's a much better playmaker.
he doesn't have wiggins' length though.

He looks taller than Wiggins in that vid though. Yeah, Jackson's ball skills are much better than Wiggins and his athleticism is not too far off if not similar. He has the same style as Wiggins in which he looks like he's not trying and makes it look so easy. I think Jackson has more potential than Wiggins from the looks of it and he looks much more like TMac than Wiggins. Who do you think is the better defender of the two?

they both have their strengths and have very good potential on that end. wiggins to me was a bit overrated defensively in college and he's not a good defender yet in the pros. he has the benefit of his length and vertical ability, so he can play a conservative style, not give his opposition much while still recovering and contesting shots. fundamentally he's pretty sound, but he's not a high intensity defender, or player in general. jackson is a little more of a gambler. he makes more plays off the ball, looks for more stls on his man and he'll heat up the ball-handler, getting up in their shirt, which has it's positives and negatives.

Thon Maker set to reclass how does this impacts the 2016 draft class if he can?

i def see that on the defensive end, love how pesky Derryck is on that end. I need to watch him from beginning to end when he comes back to see how he controls the game before branding that title completely.

Yeah, I think he is back with Findlay. Should have a few ESPN games soon.

is it just me or does it look like he put a little more size on?

Yeah. His pops holds workouts with pros so Derryck is on the same regiment as them.

not really. giles doesn't have that lighting quickness, tenacity and quick bounce for a big that amare had. as prolific as amare was in the prime, he was pretty single minded with his approach. i dont think giles has that type of scoring mentality. he was a great finisher, both in roll and pop situations, but you couldn't design a good offense around him because he's a poor decision maker who has never a good passer. amare was also a crap defender in his prime. giles shows good defensive instincts and he's more of an all-around player offensively, being a good willing passer as well.
i'm not gonna say who he reminds me of but i'd think of more well-rounded bigs for comparisons.

Skal according to sources close to cal, is the closest thing to Davis since him. They really like him, his broken back lowered his hype but its going right back up. He has a amazing story after being trapped in the earthquake rubble in Haiti

I still don't quite see the AD comp but I do like his skillset. Looks bigger than his listed 210 too.

Some people have Giles ahead iof him, but I like Jackson better! He has the handle, athleticism, and height to db the next great shooting guard!

I know Ben dropped a triple double. But how did he look out there and how did rabb look?

I know Ben dropped a triple double. But how did he look out there and how did rabb look?

simmons looked great. i still think his best offensive attribute is his passing and he put that on display. open court. pinpoint passes from the top the of the key. passes out of doubles. scoring-wise he pretty much did what he usually does. transition, cuts, dump-offs, the occasional straight line drive. i don't recall him hitting a jumper. he had one move along the baseline where he pivoted from under the basket and came back with a right-handed jump hook. looks very comfortable using his off-hand. for the most part he kept it simple, finished plays and made the correct reads as a passer. he's just a very mature player who makes it look easy because he seemingly always makes the right play. i would've liked to see if he had expanded his arsenal a bit and improved his jumper and/or breakdown ability, but he didnt have to.
defensively he made a couple of plays in space anticipating for steals. did a solid job using his better strength (has probably 15 lbs on rabb) to push him off the block.

rabb got in early foul trouble, so he he sat a bit, but had a very good 2nd half. he looks to have the better offensive arsenal as a scorer. had a nifty hesitation cross in the open floor for a finish. i was actually really impressed with his ability to handle the ball in space. he didnt get a whole lot of post touches as his guards were a bit weak with the entry, montverde's defense did a good job swarming and simmons usied his better strength to not give him position. he took his game a little to the outside in the 2nd, showing a nice jumper, even hitting a 3. he's got a really nice stroke. flashed his footwork on a couple of occasions as well as his ambidextrous finishing ability. he doesn't have simmons' floor game or strength but i think he's the more skilled scorer with a better stroke and 1 on 1 ability. defensively he needs to improve his awareness. he got a couple of cheapies reacting late to cuts and drives. he showed his shot-blocking potential though. he's super quick off his feet with quick subsequent jumps.

both were impressive. simmons is more mature physically and mentally with a better all-around game, decision making is top notch. rabb is more versatile as a scorer with a little more potential as a shot-blocker.

LSU is going to be interesting if both Martin and Mickey stay, I believe is a real possibility.

Gray-Hornsby-Martin-Simmons-Mickey

Paris Bass is going to be a star at the college level and a potential 1st rounder. Needs to add significant strength/mass and play with much better pace but I am really high on his game.
