Doesn't look like a lottery pick right now... Or even a 1st rounder

.net has pushed him over to the 2017 draft.

Isn't his "guardian" really sketchy?

rumor has it that he is. I don't know any of that for fact.

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY

Extremely sketchy. He's in it all for the money. No way Skal is at UK next year

depends if he plays the 3 or 4. Has good physical tools and intangibles so I don't see why he shouldnt be able to rebound well in the nba.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Isn't rebounding one of the most translatable skills from college to the NBA?

usually it does. It also depends on if you play your accustomed Position. Durant for example did average 11rpg in college and only 4.6 as a rookie. But that was mostly because he played SG.

I have no doubt that Ben will be a really good NBA rebounder. You can just see that he has those rebounding instincts.

Amazing talent. Can't wait til he actually puts the skill work in to go with his natural innate talents.

Incredible physical talent - wonderful handle, combined with great length and pure speed.

But I gotta say, watching him for the first time - the guy refuses to shoot the ball. Ever. I think he knows he stinks at that. So, every play is him forcing his way into the paint and hoping somebody comes open so he can pass it. He overwhelms college guys who are shorter in the interior - and today, turned it over a ton.

I'd pick him, but I don't see the next Antonio Davis or Durant or LeBron in him - at all. Not yet. Until he shoots the ball with confidence, he's not all that.

I suppose he's "going to work on his shooting." Uh huh - don't they all. But that's a huge missing in his game, and IMO a rational talent evaluator would have to downgrade him a lot as a prospect, unless he was sure Simmons would become a decent shooter.

I feel the same way. What he does at his size is great, but it will be harder for him to score at the next level in the half court. He wont have the size or quickness advantage over everyone. You cant give NBA level defenders the huge advantage of letting them sag off of you completely. And for the people who say shooting can be learned, well tell that to Rubio, Rondo, Wall and so on. Right now he would be my #1 pick, and I also dont put him on the same level as the guys you mentioned above

I just made a mixtape of him. I think he can be an All- Star in his 2nd Year depending on what team he is going to play for, but Wow even when making the highlight video, I was very Impressed.

Watch His full Highlights below!

I'm 100% certain he'll be better than Antonio Davis

I disagree. On their preseason exhibition tour of Australia he shot the three well. His free throw percentage also indicates a decent shooter.

There is something mental going on. Whether it's a lack of confidence in his perimeter game OR supreme confidence in his post game, I'm not sure. But there's nothing to suggest that he stinks at shooting.

He was decent over here shooting the ball - in the game I watched, he had trouble getting in to the lane, so he resorted to a few jumpers at times.

His shooting definitely isn't close to where it needs to be though. He's not shooting jumpers in college for a reason, compounded by the fact he can drive in at will.

Ingram is my #2. There is a huge gap to #3 and still a good size gap between Simmons and Ingram. I think Ingram has the higher potential but Simmons is the much safer pick. If Ingram continues to shoot the way he is as of late and continues his overall performance like he has, then I think the gap between him and simmons will be very small by the time the draft comes around
