Completely agree on Bridges. He's a winner at the biggest need in the NBA right now... wing defender that can shoot and score.

MPJ looks like a PF that won't be able to defend anyone.

Young has lots of questions but he also can shoot and playmake. Both will translate.

If I were a GM, they would be my top 7 and Mikal would drop. If my job wasn't at stake, I might move a couple guys in there. Young would remain in the 6-7 range simply because he has a lot of offensive potential which is valuable despite the bust risk. Bagley looks like a good energy big, so I'd most certainly have him in my top 10 and as high as 6. Bamba is the one I'm most skeptical about and this was with me starting the season as a huge Bamba fan. I just fear that teams will be able to play him off the court easily and I'm not sure his upside warrants taking the gamble this high. But I'd still rank him in the top 10, I guess. When players announce that they are coming back, I'm not sure this draft will be all that enticing past the top 9-10 guys.

That's kind of where I'm at on Bagley as well, I'm fairly high on his floor, I expect him to be at least a decent energy big, but I just don't see much more than that.

Trae certainly has a decent bust chance, but the offensive upside is just too much for me to leave him out of my top 5 (probably 3 behind JJJ/Doncic).

Bamba I've come down on a bit as well, but I think it's mostly on offense, his passing/involvement at Texas has just been so bleh. Defensively I think he's still about as good looking as they come (at worst #3 in this draft behind JJJ and possibly Mitchell Robinson - or so some tell me, I haven't seen enough to have any opinion).

Tier 1:
Ayton seems to have the most physical gifts and the highest ceiling. In a league with few dominant C's he could be the one of the top guys in the game in a few years (with Embid, Towns and Boogie). I think he will run away with the #1 pick and he has best player on a championship team potential.

Tier 2:
When it's all said and done, I see Porter Jr going #2. Seems like he would #1 in most drafts. To me he seems like Joe Johnson in Kevin Durant's body. Perfect player for today's NBA.
Bagley and Donnic are the next teir IMO. Donnic has great skills but not the best physical gifts and I give Porter the nod over Bagley since there are questions as to weather or not Bagley can play the 5. Bagley to me is Bosh 2.0 and I think he ends up being the 3rd pick unless a team at #3 falls in love with Donnic (Sacramento?)

Tier 3:
Trae Young, Jackson Jr, Bamba, Sexton - all four have some unique abilities. For Young it's shooting, Jackson being a 3 and D 4/5, Bamba shot blocking and Sexton athleticism, defense and playmaking. They also all have question marks in their game. However, you can see all of them playing in multiple all-star games, although I'm not sure any of them project to be the best player on a championship team in their primes. All probably peak as 3rd options on great teams, 2nd options on good teams.

Tier 4:
Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges, Wendal Carter. Guys are are probably more NBA ready today and have a much higher floor than the Tier 3 guys, but also a lower ceiling. I could see some of these guys slipping ahead of the Tier 3 guys, especially if CLE ends up picking between 6-8 and has a commitment from Lebron that he is staying. I could also see the Suns going more conservative if they fall out of the top 5. Miles Bridges would be a great fit in New York at #9. Porzingis is a 3 offensively in a 4's body and Bridges is a 4 in a 3's body.

I was with you completely until here (though that last MP Jr game scared me) but this seems completely out of place. No idea where people get multiple all-star as reasonable upside for Sexton. He doesn't really blow by guys in college and seems to have just enough burst and athleticism to drive some of the time against NCAA guards. He has good enough athleticism to play in the NBA but it's definitely not a special strength that could lead to him being a star.

I'm a magic and duke fan.. and yes I agree he wull jump to the NBA ( seriously, he is supposed to be graduating of course he will go to the NBA) but ita hard for me to see he is a top 20 pick let alone a top 5 in this deep of a draft.
