imo, while those measurements are bad, they are about what most realistic people who aren't blind expected. i don't think he drops as a result for that reason.

The issue IMO becomes Team A thought Sheppard could be this or that position, but with the measurements, you're now putting them in a box. Sheppard and Dillingham probably can't play the two at this point. So now they're point guards? Which brings a host of other questions, such as, can they play the point? These guys aren't going to go from the 4th pick to now the 30th pick, but Spurs have point guard questions. If I were San Antonio, I wouldn't pick either kid at 4 or 8. The risk is too great.

BTW, just based off of everything, I think Holland, Clingan, and Edey have probably improved their draft stock the most. Ware as well, and probably Walter.

This is why the Reed Sheppard elite defender stuff makes me laugh. Derrick White has 3-4 inches on him both height and wingspan.

Kyshawn George will be the biggest riser in this draft. Expect him to go in the top 10.

These are HORRIBLE Cody Williams measurements.

178 pounds at PF is just so bad.

He's legitimately 50 pounds underweight right now.

so, uh, what are his measurements?

6'1.75" without shoes, 6'3.25" wingspan, 7'9.5" standing reach.

Those are bad, 4th smallest wingspan.

The only good about them is people are more focused on how awful Dillinghams are.

what were people expecting Dilly to measure in at?

Guard - 6'3" 176 lbs Freshman this was his measurement from official Kentucky roster.

So 2 inches less and 12 lbs lower. I suspected him to be under 6-2, the weight is more of a concern to me tbh.

Aren't they measured in shoes in college?

He's way too slow to play SF.

Yves Missi, 6-10 with a 7-2 w/s is kinda disappointing, Oso coming in at a 6-11 w/s is also disappointing, was hoping he'd at least clear the 7 threshold

solid measurements for Clingan, Ware, and Sarr as expected

i mean yea, that's standard, if someone is listed 6-3 in college it's pretty normal he'd be 1.5-2 inches shorter without shoes. that applies to almost everyone and if you were expecting otherwise for DIlly then you need to readjust expectations.

Dilly came in exactly what I thought he'd come in...the problem isn't the height or w/s tbh it's that 165 pounds

Yeah, people surprised by Sheppards measurements didn't think about them much to begin with. Losing 1.25" is actually good compared to most of the other measurements, you can usually subtract 2" from college measurements. He's a riser today when the average is losing 2 inches.

Spinzone lol.

Plenty of guys measured roughly what they were listed at or even taller. Sheppard is no where close to a riser.

was hoping one of the wings would have elite measurements but they've all **** the bed so far

Ron and Cody both in the 6-6s without shoes...expected that for Holland but for Cody thought he'd be taller tbh

Furphy near 6-8 without shoes which is good but a 6-8 w/s lol

??? The only ones that don't lose a few inches are the C's or the ones that grew. College measurements are done in shoes, combine are without, of course everyone loses height between them.

Clingan, Edey, Ware, Carrington, De Silva, Antonio Reeves, Terrence Shannon, Jalen Bridges all were pretty much their listed heights.

Another 10 or 15 were within an inch but not going to list out every single player.

but yes some were 2 inches shorter, mostly the wings who all have huge wingspans. Would not say that was the norm from 30 player sample I just looked at.
