He is older but he was one of the most athletic at the combine and is just all-around a really solid two-way player. I don't think star is out of the question because better spacing will allow his athleticism to play better. I wouldn't count on it though. I'm definitely still taking him after the other guards except Philon but it's not a knock it's just that I think they're more dynamic. That said, if we look back in 5 years and he's the better than some or most of them I wouldn't be too surprised.

I have to admit, it has been very quiet on the Burries front. In the age of information leaks, there are certain guys no one is talking about at all. Perhaps NBA teams are learning, so they get their guys.

I'm sure these teams all have their favorites of the bunch but would also be ecstatic if Burries fell to them but also have several teams picking after them that like him too and some of these teams have multiple first rounders and future picks to move up past them. I imagine point guard needy teams are kinda freaking out which is why it's very possible the point guard run starts earlier than people think and there'll be trades up.
Foes..you DO realize I don't see your posts....right?

My comp for him is Randy Foye injected with savviness, Luke Kennard's shooting efficiency & Derrick White's defense.

Are you not describing a perennial All-NBA team member just with the last two qualities alone?

I am moving him up my board for the final update. Just a super safe prospect to me.

How do you compare him to Flemings?

FWIW, I have Burries > Flemings, different tiers.

I mean you are saying Burries is a Top 10 shooter in the NBA, a Top 5 Defensive Guard and built like Desmond Bane?

So basically Desmond Bane with better defense?

I am going to have Burries a few spots higher than Flemings as of right now, still mulling over the final update.

I currently have it,
4. Acuff
5. Wilson
6. Wagler
7. Burries
8. Flemings
9. Ament
10. Brown

I just think Burries is going to be above average on both ends of the floor and that isn't the easiest to find in guards. Flemings floor is high as a lead guard who can take care of the ball, limit mistakes and pick his spots but I don't know if I believe in the upside especially at his size.

Even Mikel Brown probably has a higher ceiling but I still think he has the lowest floor of everyone as a guy that hasn't prove to be very efficient yet.

I'm not totally sold that Burries has the shot-creation ability to really be a star player, but he seems like a very safe prospect in that he can clearly defend, hit shots, move the ball and avoid mistakes. Shades of Desmond Bane isn't a terrible comp for what he could turn out to be, although he isn't that sort of volume shooter right now.

Bane is 1.75 feet taller than Foye...
