He's not big or fast enough to score any other way, he can't defend any position on the court and he's the definition of a tweener (too small to play SG, not enough PG skills to play the 1). Jennings is a true PG with elite quickness...I'll take that any day over a single-skill guy like Curry.

Honestly, I hope Curry does go top 6 because that means there's absolutely no possibility the Warriors waste #7 on him...

It's good for Warrior fans that this guy wasn't the GM.

We'll see if Curry ever leads a team predicted to win around 25 games to 45+ wins as the lead point guard.

Curry is good, but he plays in a very, very number happy system. Even guys like Reggie Williams (D-League) and Tolliver (no idea where he came from) have put up great numbers in that system. Jennings also would have put up better numbers both volume and efficiency in GS, without any question. When you are not expected to defend at all and you play at the fastest pace in the league, easier to amass offensive numbers.

Jennings obviously needs to improve his shooting, but he has been a big play guy all season, and is one of the leaders of a 45+ win team as a rookie. No way in hell I'd trade him for Curry.

My friends and family have also mocked me mercilessly for my Jennings over Curry preference :D

I was very, very, very wrong about that one

I remember being extremely high on Jennings before that draft, and pretty low on Curry. Curry was weak, slow, small and wouldn't translate all that well to the NBA. Not quite a 1 and not quite a 2. Jimmer Fredette before Jimmer Fredette. Jennings was a good sized guard with huge upside and athleticism. Better court vision, defense, and speed. Steph a role player, Jennings a future all-star.

I don't think I ever missed more on a prospect than Curry, obviously.

I didn't realize how highly people thought of Brandon Jennings back in the day. Elite athleticism? Hahaha wow...

Jennings has turned into quite a disappointment the way people used to talk about him. Curry is better in every facet of the game. Handles, defense, getting to the rim, everything. They appear similar athletically, but Curry is so much more agile.

I remember before that draft, some of my classmates called me a stupid Charlotte homer for thinking Curry was going to be good...

It's okay, I still get mocked by friends for buying a bright orange Adam Morrison jersey and wearing it all the damn time in middle school.

Damn, I was spilling mad seed to Jenning's highlights before this draft and now Curry's going to be in the NBA Finals tomorrow!
