And i think Cousins will be a C in the NBA(although he can definitely play some PF)

Like you said, Favors has Lawal to take some pressure off him. And Favors is the 2nd, maybe 3rd option at GT.

Cousins has been 3rd/4th until recently....he's just been too good so far this season for them to NOT get him more touches....

Cousins is the clear #2 option at UK when he can stay on the floor. Favors on the other hand has both Shumpert and Lawal taking shots from him.

Cousins is the better player right now, but he is also in a much more favorable situation.

wall > shumpert
patterson > lawal

put shumpert and lawal instead of wall and patterson as cousins teamates, then give to cousins the 26 minutes playing time of favors...... i believe cousins will put monster stats

favorable situation? i dont think so, kentucky was star studed team, best in the nation, yet cousins still put good numbers despite of 20 minutes playing time. georgia tech isnt that good as kentucky, favors teamates isnt as talented as cousins teamates, favors has more favorable situation to dominate than cousins.

just accept the fact that cousins was better offensive player, he knows how to score

according to justin young (rivals.com writer).... demarcus cousins the most polished offensive game in any big men on his class

6'11 is true. daniel orton was legit 6'10. cousins is taller than orton

This would be a great pick for the Pistons, they could use some help in the front court. His stock keeps rising though, he was projected very late first rounder a couple weeks ago, now he's top 10 in most mocks.

^^^Would love that pick. Finally get a C in D-town and pair him with our young core; Stuckey/Gordon/Daye/Jerebko/Summers/Villanueva

Did anyone watch the Wake Forest/ Georgia Tech game last night. It was a great one to watch to get a feel for Favors' season. He was terrific... defensively - against the very big and talented WF frontcourt - blocking shots by every one of their bigs - including Aminu. He embarrassed Woods (a legit 6'11 athlete) a few times. GaTech's guards are just awful as far as distributing the ball. Schumpert is a streetball player - has no clue about playing the point, and he's got as bad shot selection as I've seen in a while. They do look for Lawal inside more than Favors - on the few occasions they look - probably because Lawal is so active and more experienced - not to mention being a very good college player.

I think cousins looks like the real deal. I hope the kings can draft him his skill level is amazing combine that with his sheer physicality and you have someone who should be extremely effective in the NBA. I would love to see him posting up against some bigger competition to see how well he handles another player near his own size. I think if the kings do draft him it will be amazing to see him play the pick n
roll with Evans.

I currently have him ranked 3rd as far as a big board goes.

He's way more of a natural C than, say, Al Horford. He's listed at 6'11" and 260 lbs, he clearly has a great wingspan, I just don't get why he wouldn't play C in the NBA.

IMO any concerns about Cousins start and end with his attitude. If he ends up being a hard worker who doesn't get himself into much trouble, then he'd be an excellent pick, and a better prospect IMO than the very raw Favors. If he's Eddy Curry 2.0 and just gets all fat and lazy, then obviously he's much worse.

Cousins has Derrick Colman talent (in terms of size/strength/skill). If he gets it in terms of work ethic, defense and 5 on 5 play he'll be a regular all-NBA player. If not he'll be Derrick Colman.

Yeh he's a total beast, although he needs to settle down, watch the elbows.

I actually think the elbows are a plus to his game. It sends a message. Defines who he is.

No nonsense, knock your block off, hard at it animal.

I think the fact that he is pudgy and relies on brute strength rather than using any sort of finesse is more of a problem. That and the fact he hardly gets off the ground.

I've seen him use a few finesse moves this game, fakes that got his man in the air. He clearly can do that.

also, I don't see him as pudgy, he's built.

He may not be a greek god, but i see no issues with this body.

That's a line you stole directly from Chad Ford..Please if nothing else, try to be original.

Wall's game is a mess. Kentucky's winning because of their dominate frontline.

I think that his numbers at the combine will be split very cleanly into two cats.

Amazing and laughable.

His height, wing span, reach and bench will be amazing.

His body fat, no step vert, max vert and sprint will be laughable.
