Is that true about Ingram? DX has him listed as 18 in Sept.

he menas that he is almost 2 years younger, not older.

Gotcha, nevermind.

I would say it is likely he is one and done.

I see Trier as 1&D, though not a lottery guy.

yeah i think he leaves based on confidence in his game and not necessarily as a result of desire for his skillset in the NBA. Kid gets buckets and plays defense when he wants to. Still undersized for his position though and doesn't show any real desire to develop a more PGesque skillset. So there's that.

If his bucket getting doesn't expand into the college ranks (which i think it will) there might not be any real selling point of his game by league standards.

yeah sorry, I really wasn't very clear here.

Isaiah Briscoe and Skal Labissierie will both be 20 come the draft. Simmons will be near 20 too. They'll be the same age as Nigel Hayes and Carl Lavert are now. Just a much older bunch than this years lot. Infact them three are all the same age or older than this years lottery guys. Ingram and some other prospects have a year and a half on most of them which should surely count for a lot.

No, 2016 earliest.

You can memorize: For international prospects it's basically always minus 1 from the last number of their birth year. So if someone is born 1995 they're eligible for the 2014 draft. 1996 is 2015 and so on. Bender is 1997 so 2016.

Newman was a legacy recruit with MSU

Cal will still get his share but it will be much tougher with Bruce Pearl, Avery Johnson, Rick Barnes and Ben Howland and of course Donovan in the SEC.

This doesn't stop him from possibly going overseas still. Mudiay committed to SMU last year before going overseas.

Didn't Mudiay have eligibility issues?

yeah Manny had transcript issues coming out of Prime Prep that might have put his eligibility in question at SMU which is one of the reasons why he went overseas to play.

Yes. I'm not saying Newman is going overseas, only that him choosing a college doesn't stop him from doing it.

Looking at the 2016 list on 247 none of the top 10 is favored to go to Uk..Obviously that can change and by no means do I think Cal still won't dominate recruiting but it would be shocking if Cal doesn't get a top 10 recruit

Calipari lost, and lost badly.
their hopes are all in Ulis hands, he is going to be really good, but that team, sadly wont.

Ulis/Hawkins
Briscoe/Matthews
Poythress
Lee/Willis
Labissiere

That looks like the best team in the SEC to me.
