Teh thing is, you can do a brilliant write up on a guy's strengths and weaknesses, but people will focus almost solely on what you said his comparison is.

I think player comparisons should be thought of more as a style comparison rather than how the prospect will pan out statistically. Because the latter is ridiculously difficult to predict. That's how I give my player comparisons anyway.

DX is pretty good site actually, no sucking up or anything.

But its funny, this thread could of been a lot of whinging and whining from posters, but JonathanG posted early so the potential whingers become suck-ups hehehe.

Just my presumptions.

Honestly, that was a very comprehensive update we did on December 26th. Not a great deal has changed since then. We will break down his stats a bit more (including his Lithuanian league and Baltic league stuff) in our "by the numbers" and "situational stats" pieces. In terms of his style of play, though, what you see there is what he is in my opinion.

Let me know if you have any more questions about his strengths/weaknesses.

The problem is that you can't explain that every time, so people take them way too literally. Nevertheless, I will try to post comparisons for at least the top-20 guys in the draft, if not more.

sure, he shows up and you guys all wilt like neglected daisies. Well, I'm not pulling any punches.

Jon, when are you going to start listing the calcium deficiency of the 1st round prospects? Maybe if you weren't so busy angling for those financially lucrative eastern european scouting gigs you'd have T-score bone density potential signed, sealed and delivered by now. Unbelievable. I guess anybody can run an incomplete draft site these days.

I know it is out sort of out of your focus, but I would love an occational update on players who were drafted previously, but are still playing in Europe.

Are they still developing their skills, or has the progression peaked?
Are they any closer to making it to the NBA?

Players like Rubio, Claver, Freeland to name a few...

And would blood sugar and cholesterol counts be so out of the question either?

JonathanG I remember you back in the cheezedoodle days on the heat board ! I love what you do and that would be a dream job for me as well. If you can take the time out of your busy schedule and email me some advise or pointers into how to get into that line of work I will greatly apreciate it. Kinglos724@gmail.com
