He's an athlete, not a basketball player.

He talented and physically mature, but he's selfish and a terrible passer.

he needs to learn how to play basketball within a team setting.
he's strong and athletic but lacks quickness.
hopefully he comes back and learns a thing or 2 about winning basketball from marcus smart and phil forte, but he always gave the impression that he wanted to be one and done. wouldnt be surprised if he did something dumb and left school.

Combines the heart of Lebron, the shot selection of Kobe and the defense of Steve.

nash isn't as bad of a defender as the media makes him out to be, he's average/slightly below average by pretty much all advanced metrics.

That's great for his future career imo.

I think he sucks and if he didn't have an awesome name nobody would care about him. I don't think it matters when he declares, his best case NBA scenario is riding the pine as a 10-12th man. I'm not expecting him to last in the league. He's like James White, great physical tools but zero basketball ability and shows no real work ethic or desire. Unless you are 7 feet tall like McGee that won't cut it.

People can change over time just because he may not be successful right away doesn't mean he can't be a good nba player over time. Look at Gerald Green who had pretty much no basketball IQ, no desire, and from all accounts was a bad teammate as well, he has matured and turned into a solid NBA player.
