I'm watching the Duke-Miami game a Kelly is just lighting Miami up. I was thinking how good would he be in the NBA? What team he fits the best? And where in the draft would he be selected?

Does he play like Ryan Anderson? I just know he is a shooting big man.

One-game wonder. He's never been this good.

2nd round pick.

He does remind me of Ryan Anderson, that was the first name to come to my head.

He reminds me of Dexter Pittman.

@Jake0890, it's his first game back do you think his draft stock would rise if he performed as good in the tournament.

Oh, definitely. But theres not a huge market for jump shooting big guys who don't do much else well.

Dude will be playing in Europe for the rest of his life. Can't guard the post. Can't guard the perimeter and the extra distance will have an affect on his 3 PT accuracy.

He's a liability defensively, he flops worse than anyone in the NBA, and that is saying A LOT. Dead eye shooter though. He'd be useful in final possession type situations. Or for like 10-12 mins a game. Mid 2nd might be worth it. He isn't strong or athletic enough to be a poor man's Anderson though.

Ummm, Kelly is actually Duke's best defender, but that is not saying much. He has incredibly team defense rotations.

Kelly's problem is that he is too damn tall. He is a taller Singler who is currently too weak to guard the NBA post and too slow to guard the NBA perimeter.

He is worth a late first, early second rounder.

So I'm assuming mid-late 2nd rounder

Flopping on charges doesn't constitute much for defense in my book. He can't keep anyone in front of him and isn't strong enough in the post. He's a liability through and through. Not to say he can't improve, but its only his offensive game that has some utility in the NBA

HELL NO and I KNEW someone was gonna say that. Novak is open from the parking lot and Kelly's range extends to only 20 feet. He's one of the big men that benefit from the college 3. His release is slow as all hell and he won't be able to get his shot off.

He definitely reminds me of someone. I just can't remember the guy's name because he didn't make it in the NBA.
