Anthony Bennett
Otto Porter
Ben McLemore
CJ McCollum
Trey Burke

They all have good measurables related to there positions, are pretty highly skilled an have college statistucs that generally translate to the next level.

Some may not be perennial allstars, but if I was betting on who the better pros are in the class, these players would be my top 5.

McLemore and Bennett will never be all-stars since they're both low motor players whose athleticism doesn't make up for their lack of size at their respective positions.

My gut says McCollum will be considered the best player from this draft. A great scoring combo guard, in the mode of a steph curry.

There are many potential guys on the draft but I think many of them won't pan out. My only prediction will be McLemore. Burke and Noel have chances as well but I don't think they'll be perennial.

I have to go with Len. If Ilgauskas can make two trips to the ASG, Len should have a shot. Hurray for a dearth of quality big men?

It is important to note that players are going to be judged against their positional competitors. Some positions clearly have a lower bar for entry.

First, let's throw out PGs and SFs. Simply too much talent at the top to say that a star this year will be able to knock their way into the ASG, even if they are great. Porter isn't going to beat out Durant or Lebron for a spot in the ASG until they are past their prime, or the next tier guys for a bench spot. Burke isn't going to instantly get rid of Paul, WIlliams, Rondo, etc. (so many talented PGs in the league).

Next we have two forward spots (since they have done away with centers). I think it is possible we see a few PF selections from this draft, but there are still a fair number of talented power forwards, and a few centers. I could see Bennett getting a spot with good scoring, even though he may be the worst defender in this draft class. Noel and Len could make it if they develop decent offensive games. Dark horse would be Zeller.

SGs, however, have a good chance to make the ASG from this class. McLemore, Oladipo, and KCP are all good even prospects to make it, and they'll enter a field with few young superstars and a lot of retiring veterans. I could see two of them making an ASG.

Overall, I'd expect 2-5 All-Stars from this class. Minimum would be your SGs, with a few likely PF candidates and a long-shot for a PG or SF.

Of those who said Bennett, what was it in college that attracted you to him? For me, I felt he was like a young Larry Johnson potentially. I was so wrong as was most but what was it for you?

Burkes, Bennett, Zeller, Dieng and Mitchell all have a decent shot but for them it will depend alot more on their specific situation and things really going their way than the ones mentioned above.

I'd be shocked if this draft produced 7 all-stars. Go look back at some other drafts and you really don't see that of a high number.

This is correct, just looking at this class, only two players have made the all-stars (Vic and Greek Freak). From this class, only Otto Porter, C.J. McCollum, Steven Adams, Rudy Gobert and Robert Covington (undrafted) still have a shot in their careers.

That's crazy. I believe when it's all said and done, this class will have 5-6 all-stars.

2012 had 6 all-stars
2011 had 7 AS.
2010 had 4
2009 had 6

2014 - 2
2015 - 3

and the rest are too young.
