Ford lists the measurements of Wiggins, Embiid, and Parker

Joel Embiid- 7'1" in shoes, 7'5.75" wingspan, and 9'5.5" standing reach.

Jabari Parker- 6'9" in shoes, 6'11.75" wingspan, and 8'11.5' standing reach.

Andrew Wiggins- 6'8.75" in shoes, 7'0" wingspan, and 8'11" standing reach.

I believe all 3 really helped their cause with their measurements.

Parker shows legit PF height at 6-9 in case he's goes that way. Most thought Wiggins would would be closer to 6-7 in shoes not 6-9. Embiid's measurements are insane. Between Embiid's workout and measurements really believe he's starting to create some separation between himself and Wiggins/Parker for #1.

Randle: 6'9" w/ shoes, 7" wingspan, 8'9.5" reach.

Parker is bigger than Randle. Damn. Wiggins is really tall.

I don't want to say those numbers are lies, but honestly I don't believe Wiggins'. I've watched every single Kansas game, Wiggins being almost 6'9 seems like a stretch to me

Really helps Parker, though really surprises me he's a "wingspan shorter than average, standing reach above average" guy, I actually thought the opposite was going to happen

He has a 7 foot wingspan...

Anyone who's watched Bari Buckets at all can see he has a lot of length. Those measurements seem wrong though. Maybe Wiggins grew another inch (he grew an inch from 2012 to 2013) and the wingspan seems correct but the standing reach is insanely high for someone with that build (Melo has a 7-0 wingspan with only a 8-8 standing reach for example). Jabari's height and wingspan are relatively even with his Olympic measurements but his standing reach is almost a full 3 inches higher than his last measurement. I'm calling shenanigans.

really not surprised by parker's measurements. He always looked taller than his listed height to me and op is right, his measurement have eased concerns about him being able to defend in the nba, because now at least we know he has the height to defend 4's.

wiggins iam not a fan of. Harkless has better measurements than him but it doesnt mean anything unless you can play basketball.

embiid's are insane.

According to DX, Melo's height is 6'7.5" in shoes and his standing reach is 8'9.5". With Wiggins having 1.25" on Melo (height w/shoes), it's possible that his standing reach would be at least 8'10.75". Of course, we sometimes have to take factors like: length of neck, shoulder width, etc. into consideration as well when figuring out standing reach, but in this case the full measurements were done.
I somewhat agree with you though about calling shenanigans. I don't particularly trust non-combine measurements.

Their reaches are in line with other 6'8" - 6'9" guys in the DX database, both are taller than Melo as well.

I'm just gonna assume the w shoes and standing reach are around an inch too high, because it seems consistently high for all 3

7'1 wingspan is average for PF

I was comparing him to SFs. Well he did clearly have PF size in college. Remember he's short for a PF so that wingspan is still impressive.

Lol idk where I saw 8-8. I'm going crazy...

If that's Melo's standing reach they're more believable but I probably still don't believe them. Jabari really compares to Derrick Williams physically (I've thought the same before measurements too). He was 6-9 with a 9-0 standing reach.

If Wiggins played SG his length would be exceptional for the position. That may be the direction to go for him

I believe that all of those standing reach measurements were recorded while those three guys were wearing shoes, while I believe at the combine standing reach is recorded while the players are barefoot. All three of those standing reaches look inflated especially since Jabari Parker has a 8'8" standing reach on record back in 2013 to go with a 7'0" wingspan. How did his standing reach increase 2.5 inches? It didn't.

That's very stupid if true.
