Has anyone seen this guy play this year? How is he and how does he rate among the other PFs like Jordan Mickey, Cliff Alexander pre-injury?

I always have doubt on Syracuse bigs, especially playing in that zone. Plus he's only 6'9".

6'9" but he has a huge wingspan. Great length, pretty good athleticism, but he plays soft. He's got a pretty nice jumper around the FT line and will probably stretch it out to the college 3 point line at least. He's a mess at the FT line though (he seems to shoot the ball before he's even looked up at the rim... I don't know why the coaching staff never caught this).

He has potential as the type of athletic kinda stretch PF that teams seem to like nowadays, but he's very raw and has a very questionable motor. And despite his length and athleticism, he seemingly refuses to dunk in traffic. Instead, he opts for finger rolls and really struggled with it. He was a very frustrating player to watch because he'd show flashes of dominance followed by being a complete non-factor against even the smallest of opponents. I was hoping he'd return for another year because the talent is there, but he's apparently having a kid so he wants to get paid now. I wouldn't draft him any higher than a late 1st, but I'd like him as a 2nd round pick.

He has some huge defensive potential, but that's it. Meh in everything else, even compared to another 20yo in NCAA.
I think I would draft him ahead of Jarell Martin, but he's a lesser prospect than Turner, Looney, Cliff, Mickey

Why did he dominate early and then had a bunch of games where he had single digits? If he's like Perry Jones - in terms of skill with no motor - I do not want. His game sounds more like Patrick Patterson then, stretch big that's inconsistent and doesn't overpower people in the post. Meh. How's his defense?

I'd say given his length and athleticism, he has some potential as a defender, but I honestly question if he'll ever give the effort required to become a good defender.

Not really sure why he was good early and then fell off a cliff. Defenses didn't really take him away or anything. He just kinda stopped doing anything and missed some bunnies that he should have been dunking.
