What if Nikola Jokic, last years Nuggets pick, declared for this years draft instead, what do you guys think where would he go?
1-10,10-20? 2nd round again?
Here are some stats of him in ABA Liga, with Partizan,Zvezda,Cibona,Cedevita,Union Olimpija(teams that played in some of Euroleague competitions), he is first in index rating in whole league, 4th in ppg, 1st in rpg, and 8th in bpg in whole league. He is also MVP of basketball league in Serbia.
He is born in 1995, plays C, and has nice 3pt shot.

15.5ppg, on 50% shooting, 59% on 2s(108/182), and 34.6 on 3pt attemts(36/104), and 66.7% FT(46/69) with 9.3rpg(6.8drpg, and 2.5orpg) and 3.5apg and 0.9bpg and all of that on 30mpg(out of 40mins).

This is best game he had last year in ABA league:

End of the first in best case scenario.

Most likely somewhere in the twenties.

There's a thing with his club and his numbers. Mega Leks, his club from ABA league, is private club ran by managerial agency. Their sole purpose is to have young players with good numbers so they could be drafted to the league in order to increase their player's reputation.

Now, I'm not saying Jokic is not good, but that's not the domination Dario Saric shown us, this is something different.

Jokic is playing in system that MASSIVELY increases everyones numbers. When you see a guy playing in Mega something (in Serbia) take his numbers with a pinch of salt.
And to answer your question, end of first round I think.

This maybe slightly effected by my Nuggets Bias, but I think he would be in the Teens. His international numbers maybe overrated, but video shows some very impressive things and he has done good against peers that are going in the top of the draft this year. During a Nike Hoops Summit scrimmage last year, he posted 20 points and 9 rebounds with 4/4 shooting of 3 pointers against a lot of the top draft picks this year. The videos that are available also show a pretty skilled 7 footer who can shoot which isn't exactly the most available commodity in the NBA. I think the Nuggets got lucky to get him last year in the second just because the draft was so deep. He will definitely get a chance to show what he has this year as he looks like he will be the Nuggets backup center.

He also averaged 4.2 assists per pace adjusted 40 minutes and solid steals plus blocks numbers. Sounds like he's a well-rounded player.

Just going to put this out there.

Centre version of Luis Scola.

Ground bound guy with a lot of nifty post moves, good passer and mid range shooter for his size. Smart player.

Reasonably quick feet and legit measurements for the position 6'11" in shoes, 7'3" wingspan, 9'3" but somewhat ground bound/not the quickest launching vertically meaning not the best rim defender.

To answer the OPs question, I think he goes low 20's. I think a team is more likely to take a gamble on him, than select someone like Montrezl Harrell or Christian Wood who are low ceiling/high ceiling high bust chance prospects.

He's on his way to the Nuggets next season. Nuggets will likely draft a point guard.

Or SG/SF. Only players that are 100% to be Nuggets next year are Gallo,Nurkic,Harris,Lauvergne,Jokic

Yeah, they could. I heard their GM talk about how he's excited for Gary Harris next season and they're probably bringing back Will Barton. If they don't trade Wilson Chandler, they're already stacked at that position. Even if Faried is traded, they're full of SF/PF/C. It just seems most likely they go for a point guard. And since that's the case, I wouldn't look past them trading with the Knicks to try to get one of Mudiay, Russell or Payne.
