Isaac Hamilton - UCLA

Post#1 » by TKainZero » Sun Feb 28, 2016 1:11 am

I have caught several UCLA games this year, and have always come away impressed with Hamilton.
He plays calm and collected, picks his spots, doesn't force it on offense, can shoot the 3, and plays above average defense.

He leads the team in ppg (reluctantly) while playing with coachs son who is a gunner (Alfred) and then Jrue Holidays younger brother (another gunner) which pushes him to the SF spot (he is a SG) and he guards the other teams best perimeter player.

He is 6-5 (but looks bigger, and plays longer)
he will be 22 at the time of the draft. (which limits his long term upside)
He isn't off the charts athletic.

Absolutely should be looked into for teams looking for a 3&D SG prospect.
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

Once upon a time, 22 years old was the normal age for draft picks. LOL
Not sure if he's late first round, second round, or undrafted. For the right team, he might be a good bench shooter. Not sure he's quick enough or long enough to be a strong defensive presence in the NBA - he could be good, but maybe not great.

I think he is for sure a 2nd round prospect.
Upside limited, but his role will be defined.

Honestly, he has already showed he can excel with a Gunning PG.

Not every pick needs to be a swing for the fences unlimited potential guy

I think he is coming back to UCLA if he is smart.

Like UCLA could/should be a top5-10 team next season that will give Isaac more exposure and cache, and if you are going to be barely a 2nd rounder this season you can always come back to improve your stock,
