Predicting the Draft based on EVIDENCE

More and more information will be coming out about players plans for the draft, scouts worries about players and general interest all around. I scanned http://hoopshype.com/tag/draft/ to find information about this stuff, but it can also be found in tweets, interviews, etc. Sources could obviously be wrong, but I think we have a collective mind that could be able to put two and two together. Here are some notes I picked up from hoopshype since the All-Star break:
-Danny Ainge at California/Arizona game
-Spurs looking hard at Jameel Warney with
multiple visits (other teams have checked
him out as well)
-Draymond Green wants Bryn Forbes
-Robert Carter Jr. looks like a first round pick
- Dedric Lawson likely never a lottery
pick/vague about entering draft this
year
- Nets looking for a draft pick
- Ainge won't trade Nets pick (for now)
- Zhou Qi has questionable age
- Jonathan Isaac (top 10 highschool prospect)
will explore declaring for 2016 draft (could
be open to legal challenge)
- Pacers, Mavericks, Lakers and Thunder
interested in someone from Northeastern
or Hofstra?
- Raptors interested in Dragan Bender?

I realize you have to backtrack these, so from now on I'll only post with direct evidence and you guys can do the same. The information you trust and don't trust is up to you. If you want to take part in this puzzle, post information you see.

Seems like the theme is 3 point shooting SG

/\ He is legit. I haven't looked at Twitter in a while so I hadn't seen those tweets. Thanks for posting. They make sense, but part of me wants the Wolves to package the pick with a player or two and go after someone more established. I suppose with Hield, he'd be older than a chunk of our core so that might be their thinking.

It looks like there is scout interest in David Walker as a second round pick, who is probably who scouts were going to see earlier. I could see him as the Warrior's 30th pick personally (good size, passer, and shooter). His only detriment is age. Combine should be big for him.

These were the scouts at the Kentucky/Texas A&M game (draw conclusions)

This source is a journalist for Kentucky so not completely reliable.

I sincerely hope nobody sees Valentine as a PG.
I like House and Jones from A&M they have a shot, they are the type of prospect most needed in today's game, versatile wings.

Not knocking this thread but the title is super misleading. We're just reporting rumors, teams doing due diligence, and things that we can only speculate wildly about.

Again, this is a useful thing to have but it seems like the opposite of 'evidence' that will help us 'predict the draft' accurately.

Yeah, team visits seem weird. Someone posted the Timberwolves thing and I said why not? As for the rumors, they're what make up any evidence there is. There is no solid proof of who is going to pick whom. Players will start getting promises after workouts and it's interesting to see where GMs visited and where their real interest lies. Again, you can post things you trust or not. I think all information (reliable or not) is good information when doing research.

That first tweet in on the day UK played LSU http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400830492 which interestingly enough is the one game Labissiere played really well scoring 18 on 8 of 10 shooting, along with 9 rebounds, 6 blocks and 2 assists.

Doesn't matter. If you need a versatile passer, rebounder, scorer, you don't necessarily need to slot him into a traditional position which is a thing of the past anyway.

Dunn looks pretty good, but anyone drafting Murray high is nuts IMO - dude has nothing but height and a decent handle, just like MCW, who is a terrible player.

Interested in someone? (from northeastern) someone? The new skywalker is about to become a cult hero.

Just an update: Alvin Gentry said in his exit interview that they are looking for a 3 that can pass and be a bit of a distributor. Could mean they're looking into Jalyen Brown.
