I haven't been hearing much about him but he seems like a sure thing lotto pick. Anyone familiar with him? Is he a project, should his age be a factor, what position will he play, what level of an athlete is he, is his shooting for real, what is his draft range, etc.

Big hands, long arms, good vertical, quick, shifty, shoots 3s well, good passer (uses his length), shoots off dribble, not great handle (but it's not bad), moves well on defense but needs to learn more on that end -- I've been high on all year. I like him drafted between 8-16. He will get overlooked for being international, but I'm sure no one wants another Giannis Antetokounmpo situation. If there is anyone in this draft that can be the international sleeper, I think it's this guy.

I see a shorter Batum/at the worst Iman Shumpert. Still has a hard time creating separation off the bounce and needs to tighten his handle but all the tools are there for him to become a versatile two-way wing

i second this

A late bloomer with length and athleticism. Plays SG/SF. Natural born defender, outstanding first step + overall speed, and improving a lot his offensive skills and confidence this year.

I see Paul George. As in nobody expected him to be so good. But pre draft tools are similar.

6 '7 with 7'2 wing span and huge hands A plus defender right now . Which is why he climbing up the board has a high floor as a defensive specialist can legit guard 4 position

Above avg ball handler canw create his own shot good not great shooter foot work needs to be more consistent

Nba comparison : floor : Thabo ceiling :Kawhi Leonard (virtually the exact same measurable down to the insanely huge hands) most likely: Eddie jones

So hard to tell with the amount I've seen. He'd sure be a guy you'd want to see in person if you were in that spot. To me he looks like a top 10 pick. I could see him going 3-20.

I think he could play sg or SF. Higher ceiling at sg. Some interesting fits for him=
Minnesota- I know it seems like they will draft of this guy might be a perfect fit opposite wing of wiggins. Middle of the first still a lot of power f's out there

Boston- I really don't want them getting Luwawu. Seems like a perfect addition for them though

Spurs? Well that would be hilarious if they traded into late teens and grabbed him and became a stud.

Doordoor123 - exactly right and what's impressive is, he's improved in the last year - means he works hard. Not sure he goes that high just because there are a lot 2s & 3s & 2-3 guys in this draft --- but it wouldn't be shocking if he went that high.

I seriously know nothing of him (haven't seen him play)
But in a weak draft, he could be a high riser, and I could see everyone wondering why he wasn't a top 5 pick in 3-4 years.

Athletic all around wings are the hottest NBA commodity

I definitely can see Denver selecting him eight overall. Hell, I would take a long look at him at fifth overall.

I don't see him falling past the bucks

I've been looking at him a fair bit over the last week or two based on what information/footage is available, and he's the #1 guy I'm hoping falls to the Bulls at the end of the lottery.

So long as his shooting continues to look good, he should impact immediately as a 3/D guy, but with his overall ability, his ceiling a much more dynamic player than that. He projects to do a lot of things well, and with his measurables, I'm sure teams will have their eyes on him.

I think of him as a rich man's Gerald Green. Above average athleticism with better basketball IQ.

I like him way more than I liked Hezonja. But to be fair, I have seen plenty of Hezonja Barca games, while I only seen Luwawu's highlights. But he looks smoother, more explosive and far better defender. I think he can be a mix of Sefolosha and Fournier if that makes sense, very good defender, with some of primary ball handler skills.

Green is the comparison that sticks in my mind as well! (here)

I was real high on him last year when he was projected in the late 1st/early second. I do think his BBIQ could leave a little to be desired and may limit him to being a high-end role player rather than a star, but he looks like a safe bet in the mid to late lottery, maybe sneaks higher if he really impresses a team in the interview.

has he declared?

It's almost 100% sure he'll be in the draft even if he did not declare officially. It was the plan when he signed at Mega Leks. His value couldn't be higher, he'll be automatically eligible next year but the 2017 draft looks stronger so I don't think he'll withdraw his name
