Looks like possibly one of the best athletes in the class. Raw skill game but as a freshman put up good numbers in 20.4 pts, .61 TS%, 8.1 reb, 1.5 ast, 1.3 stl, 2.5 blk per 40 minutes.

It sounds like he is the type of prospect that ordinarily would have come back and had a chance to be a lotto pick a later year, but after being ruled ineligible for grades near the end of the season, he decided to just declare now and hired an agent so it's for real. I can see this guy moving up draft boards

I've loved the UNLV trio since the start of the year. Derrick Jones is going to be a good NBA player. I guarantee it.

Early on I thought UNLV was going to a good team so I watched quite a bit of him. He had issues with consistency, but was able to get hot and make big plays. He just doesn't have a real good feel for the game and it hurts him on both ends of the floor. He has potential shooting off the dribble too.
