Where do you think Ulis gets drafted if he was 6'5?

And being that he isn't, what do you think his absolute upside at his size is? I mean, he is BY far the best floor general from and advanced stats perspective in college. Of course it is a weak year for point guards in the draft, but I think even in general, he would rank high.

Top 3, and potentially the undoubted #1 overall. He is just so good. And he plays it on both ends of the floor. Simmons is all potential so I think Ulis' main competition for the first overall selection would be Ingram. But I'd say a top 3 selection would be a lock.

A 6'5 PG with Ulis' poise, shooting, defense, and floor general ability would be a truly elite prospect. Like Anthony Davis or maybe even Durant level prospect.

That's easy considering Ulis does everything you want in a point guard besides be 6'2" or 6'5". He'd be number 1 pick at 6'2" 180 and at 6'5" 200 he'd be the consensus number 1.
I see Ulis as a Star player with superstar qualities.
Those qualities being elite vision, actually makes players around him better and that includes the really good ones, quickness and speed, and of course his floor general quality which is more having the game in control at all times. I think that's a more special quality at 5'9" than at 6'5" which is to be expected of those players.
I hope two things for Ulis and that is he either gets drafted in the Lottery since the kid has earned it or just works out for the Spurs and they take him and sign another notable free agent and have a Big 4 in San Antonio, Texas.
There was so much talk last year about Kentucky players not having enough time and had they went to another school they would have been picked higher and all that wondrous talk.
Ulis got all the playing time Kentucky could offer and that's still not good enough despite his obvious strengths and very little weaknesses. Enough of that kind of talk from now on.

Elite prospect. The favourite to be #1.

If you are that high on Ulis and are a Memphis fan why would you want him to go to San Antonio?

I'm a Wolves fan.
Spurs are a respectable organization and they seem to know talent and legit players when they see 'em. I'm a Ulis fan (I'm also objective) so I want the best for him in that regard. I'll still root for the Wolves when they square off.
He'd be a great memphis pick, but I think they'll go shooting guard and take a top 5 PG next year.

Depends on who drafts, but 1st overall consideration.

The problem with these is always that he'd be a totally different player.
Would he keep his small space quickness at that size? Probably not, if he did... maybe top 10?
His shooting isn't that great, particularly from deep, I don't know that he becomes any better a prospect than Hield.
Of course the whole thing is kinda ridiculous, height would only be a small part of the athletic equation, and that would be huge since he isn't a great shooter.

The comparison is probably Kyrie and D'Angelo in their draft years. Ulis would be taller than either but is a sophomore and had worse stats than either. I say 2nd or 3rd pick

His shooting is pretty great. Have to look beyond the percentages for this one, he looks like an above average NBA shooter for sure.

He'd be a Rose/Wall/Irving level talent worthy of the 1st pick, IMO,... way ahead of Russell who went from overrated to overrated snitch.

To be fair, everyone (including me) would soar up draft boards if you added 7 inches to their height.

If he's 6'-5" he'd be a top 5 pick for sure. This upcoming draft being quite weak will definitely help his stock. But then again, teams will need to see he can play with bigger competition, and that will be his dilemma. In all honesty, I do not see Ulis slipping into the top 20 but it is possible that he ends up as a first round pick.

I would draft him first overall in an instant, he would be a freakish prospect.

He would be a better prospect than any PG in the 2017 crop which looks to be stacked

He would go 3rd if he had good pg height. He's gonna be a really good nba player and whoever takes him at the back half of the 1st round is getting a big steal if theyre solid in player development. His size is an overblown weakness man, how many point guards do work in the post besides westbrook and a couple others. Ullis is a really good defender and should be able to hold his own on most nights, especially with shooting being so trendy. Hes gonna be a much better defender than Isaiah or nate robinson ever were is he continues on the path hes headed down.
