Where are we at with him?

Strength and conditioning issues have been well documented, but his up and down conference play has had me thinking hard about his starter potential and I've become less enthused at the chances of that happening.

Take a look at current NBA depth charts: http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/depth-charts/nba.aspx

Notice anything? The #1 thing that stuck out to me is that 95% of starting centers fit into one or both of these two defensive archetypes...

1)Wide Framed Positional Defender: Don't offer elite rim protection but are coordinated and fundamentally sound, plus have the strength to hold their position on the floor and defensive glass.

2)Eilte Rim Protector: Have elite length/reach measurements plus shot blocking instincts. Some are more rangy/better in space and pnr, but all are huge presences at the rim.

Justin Patton doesn't project to fit into either one of these categories. Does he have enough offensive skill potential to make-up for it? Is three point range enough?

Interested to hear your guys' thoughts.
