I think his shot hesitation is due to simply not having time to get it off. has to be one of the most accurate but slowest releases I've ever witnessed

Haliburton just has a super slow release and I think he shys away from driving because he's so thin and isn't confident in his ability at the rim in traffic. Love his potential as a 3+D, secondary handler and ball mover...but as an NBA team he's a guy I think I'd want to see another year in college from. He's so toolsy, but I'm not confident in his role player game translating to the pros currently with his physique and the aforementioned scoring issues.

I’m a downer on Isaiah Roby, he’s a modern tweener. He can’t slide on defense with 3s and he’s a smaller PF/C who is really weak for those positions. He’s a good off-ball defender though, but he overcommits and tries to go for steals over defending his man. He can shoot, but he’s not a shooter. Ideally he can play the 3 until he gets stronger, if he can get stronger. But he needs to become a better screener, better at boxing out, getting rebounds, better on-ball defender, etc. Its possible he can grow, but he also doesn’t use any advanced moves. Think he’s a G-League player right now.

While Barrett is not going to move for me from 2a or 2b, I think Morant just by the needs of the bottom 6 teams will be the #2 overall prospect and the one with the highest trade value.

I can see Cleveland, NY, Chicago and PHX being all in for him

He’s a great three point shooter who can get his shot off in different ways, but his ability to slide on defense and drive on an open lane are bad. His handle is just not good, the ball often looks loose when he drives. And while he has toughness on-ball, it’s all show because he’s not that strong and doesn’t move well enough laterally. Besides his jumper he doesn’t have any great qualities. I think we’re talking about a Doug McDermott type, who was also much better in college.

He’s my most overrated guy that everyone loves this year as an underrated sleeper pick. Dude looks completely out of place playing against legit athletes and has no position to guard in the pros since he flat out can’t play on the perimeter and gets ragdolled in the paint. Don’t think he can attack close outs offensively so honestly I see him as a summer league/two way guy who never really makes a team beyond a 10 day really.

A poor man’s Dougie is probably about right, maybe he’s a 13th man if everything goes right.

Do you feel the same sentiment after seeing him go up against Maryland?

The only people who rate Morant low are the same ones who didn't have Doncic in their top 3 and Young out of their top 10.. so basically people who aren't very good at this stuff.

Yeah one game doesn’t change anything for me. He’s still a weak and frail 4/3 tweener without good ball skills and no one to guard in the nba. Having a great shooting game doesn’t change anything since no one was doubting he could shoot.

Eh, I'll disagree with you. I see him as a 3 in the NBA. Fringe 1st rounder, most likely a 2nd rounder. Smart IQ player with ok length and good shooting ability. I think his ball handling is a bit underrated. A poor man's Dougie doesn't make sense to me. They're both entirely different players in college. I see a potential Taurean Prince.

Yeah I don’t see windler being able to attack closeouts in the nba so to me he’s extremely limited as prospect.

He’s still the 8th best PF in this class for me. He’s an upside player with a safe floor.

I love the way Fletcher Magee plays, I’m not convinced he’s worthless. I hope he somehow gets a combine invite.

I wouldn't be surprised if guys like Fernando and Kabengele end up better NBA players than Jaxson Hayes. I'm saying that with Hayes higher on my board, btw.

Is there a consensus on Dylan Windler yet? Could he play a Korver/Bullock/KCP type role in the NBA?

The best thing one can glean from his season thus far is that he doesn't turn the ball over much at all. If this aspect stands intact in a bigger role next season scouts everywhere are going to be reminded of Monte Morris, another guard out of ISU who didn't turn the ball over and is now one of the best backup point guards in the league, only Haliburton is longer and has more defensive potential.

What do you guys think of Keldon Johnson's defense? Is he more Devin Booker or KCP?
