It's looking more likely that Jackson will at least fall to Phoenix.

Unless you drafted Ball or Fultz, you'll be the team regretting you passed on Jackson.

only reason why josh jackson would be slipping on draft boards is questions about his character. i cant think of any other reason

And his shot and his size. No one wants a Andre Igoudala/Michael Kidd-Golchrist/Andrew Wiggins hybrid in a top 5 pick. Just joking about the comparison, but it'll likely take him a long time to correct that shot. He is also thin and not long enough to ever guard 4s.

That combined with the outside stuff. I have him going 10 in my mock and Fox I have at 8. Not too high on either player in this draft.

I see how Fox could be climbing, His speed with the ball is John wall level. He's not as tall or the athlete but he has that speed. But he also has that 2-way potential, which is huge.

If he can hit his shot, there's def superstar potential

Have him going 9 to Dallas.

I don't know why Jackson would fall unless his jumper is looking disgustingly bad in workouts and stuff, or if they're finding some really sketchy stuff about his background/character. I like Fox a lot but Jackson's tools/upside are just clearly better to me. If he can tweak the shot he's got MVP type tools, like a more explosive & more offensively creative Jimmy Butler.

I think Phoenix's big board is where it's going to count, and I highly doubt they drop him, so I still think 4 is his floor, even if other teams aren't as high on him.

Wow. That is the highest I've seen him going! What does your lotto look like?

Im pretty high on Jackson but not too shocked about this. All it takes is his jumper in the workouts to be off for teams to get turned off by that than the massive amount of character issues that arose his one year at KU. I know Lavar gets all the headlines but I also wouldnt be shocked if teams are turned off by Jackson's mom and fear a Derrick Rose's brother situation but with Jackson's mom. If he really is slipping I wonder who would go 3rd to Philly, Tatum or Fox.

I haven't posted this yet because it isn't complete, but here:
1. BOS: Markelle Fultz
2. LAL: Lonzo Ball
3. PHI: Jayson Tatum
4. PHX: Jonathan Isaac
5. SAC: Dennis Smith Jr
6. ORL: Frank Ntilikina
7. MIN: Malik Monk
8. NYK: De'Aaron Fox
9. DAL: Donovan Mitchell
10. SAC: Josh Jackson
11. CHA: Bam Adebayo
12. DET: Lauri Markkanen
13. DEN: Zach Collins
14. MIA: Harry Giles

I'm also not a huge Ball fan, but I can't see anyone else going second. Jonathan Isaac worries me in terms of offense and his frame. Dennis Smith worries me in that he's one-dimensional and has bad body language occasionally. Frank Ntilikina just isn't good enough to be the number two. Tatum isn't long enough, isn't athletic enough and doesn't have anything that makes him stick out. Fox is too much of a project. Jackson has his issues like I've said. 2-12 are interchangeable IMO. Not a huge fan of anyone because I feel like they all have issues.

I can't see Phoenix passing up on Jackson if he's there. Jackson may have issues but he stands way above anyone else (besides the top 2) in terms of talent.

His defense is elite, but stronger, bigger guys will dominate him. He's really athletic, but he has a below average wingspan. He's a great playmaker, but he's not a great shooter. All of that combined with his off-the-court stuff makes me second guess him. Think I would take others before him. His lack of shooting and the way he shoots the ball is a big deal to me and I think it would take a lot of years to fix. I would just rather gamble on other players who i think can hit their upside sooner and could have just as high an upside.

He may lack shooting now but none of the guys in that from 2-12 outside of Monk really are good shooters, they're all kind of poor in their own way (compare him to Tatum, Tatum is by no means a great shooter, may not even be a good shooter now).

I think if Phoenix were patient he would be what they want from that wing position, especially when you're putting him next to Booker. They need some elite defensive guys. Also NBA will dominate him at first yes, but on a rebuilding team like Phoenix, he can grow with the team and become that elite defensive guy in the nba. His off the court stuff is bad, but if Lavar isn't a bad thing, i can't see Jackson's character dissuading others.
