Who will have the better career, Kyle Kuzma or Caleb Swanigan?

The way Kuzma's come out of the gates I'll say him.

I haven't really tuned in to how Swanigan's been going but I think he'll definitely carve a role for himself in this league, too skilled not to. But as for Kuzma, he's already a guaranteed rotation player with potential for more.

This isn't as close as you might think, but probably Kuzma.

If it's not close, then why a "probably" and not a "definitely"?

Sorry, I meant to say it's close. Swanigan on the boards, his toughness on defense, and his ability to score around the rim makes him very close to Kuzma. It's just that Kuzma stylistically is aligned with what most teams want from a PF.

It's hard. Swanigan i think will be a solid role player, but the way Kuzma is playing, he looks to be a legit starter for the long term. I mean if we had any sense, he's starting ahead of LNJ and Randle this year.

Hard to say. If Swanigan's rebounding translates to the NBA he can become a Ben Wallace type of player.

Yeah except Big Ben was DPOY and defence is the one thing that will keep Swanigan from being a starter. I really like the story and think the rebounding will definitely translate, but he's more of a good bench big unless something crazy changes about his foot speed.

And he's much more capable on the offensive end

Im going with swanigan. I think he can be an all star in all honesty. A double double machine. I see kuzma as a solid role player.
