you need stop operating under the assumption that Ja isn't a good prospect. you might think so, but someone drafting him in the top 4 obviously isn't.
and Zach hasn't at any point in his career demonstrated he can be a winning player...all he's doing now is scoring on a bad team and on average efficiency at that. everything else is sub-par.
He is like 6'3 170lbs soaking wet with a shaky jumpshot, what is he gonna do in the NBA next season?
I don't think he's a bad prospect, but he's certainly not an "immediate impact" type player imo. He's not someone you can draft and hand the reigns to right away expecting them to lead a successful team.
again, irrelevant. your argument shouldn't be 'dont trade Zach', your argument should be 'don't draft Ja'.
this entire discussion is circled around the Bulls drafting Ja. If they like him enough to draft him that high, Zach LaVine isn't a good enough piece to get in the way of that.
plus...if Zach is really that valuable a piece, they should get something good back in return right
I think your harping on Zach Lavine is what's irrelevant. Lavine is a good player who fits with the rest of the Bulls core. If they draft Morant and he doesn't fit, what makes you think they'll trade Lavine? Why not just flip Morant for a better fitting PG?
Bulls can draft Morant and do whatever they want with him. They don't have to keep him on the team just because they drafted him with a high pick.
