http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/21972366/matur-maker-skip-college-enter-nba-draftSince his brother Thon got so much attention, how much are you going to give to Matur? He’s in the draft. Is he 50 years old? You decide.

Thon's performances this year really hurt his stock. Basically gets owned by the big Cs of the league (Adams etc), just doesn't have the body type to physically matchup to get rebounds etc, Matur (ironic name, no?) will have to project as a better outside shooter. He has a limited projection because, as Thon has shown, he probably won't have the physical profile to be a small-ball five so you're left with a one-position rotation guy, OK help defender but reliant on others for opportunity at the other end.

Does Matur have any chance to be a PF? Seems it might suite the Maker build a bit more. It's been ages since I watched Matur though, can't remember what his game's like.

He's basically limited to playing PF if he's anything like his big brother, its not as if this draft is short of players that have the potential to play PF/C and can actually rebound in traffic.

Matur Maker just turned 20 years old, according to his guardian Ed Smith, and he is a year removed from his high school graduating class, making him eligible for the NBA draft. Maker is currently doing a postgraduate year at Mississauga Prep in Ontario, Canada.
I still believe Maker is older than he actually is. His brother is only a year younger than him..so age concerns would also come up for him.
Unfamiliar with a postgraduate system, but I guess they were trying to improve his grades to make him academically eligible for college, but the article said he probably wouldn't have qualified.
Interesting, but not interested. Feels like a lot of weird stuff surrounding the Makers.

Literally. the dude was born in Australia? How do you fake his age if he needs a birth certificate to get a passport to go over to America?

He is in theory born the 1st of Jan that's the date governments used for refugees when they do not know their actual birthdate... so

They are not even trying to hide it anymore. It's almost as if they are making fun of the internet age investigators. Matur? Seriously?
