What is your personal big board right now?
Can do it by tier or order. Preferably as least top 14 or maybe even first round if you are familiar with all the names.

Tier 1:
Bagley
Ayton
Doncic (going off of hype, still don't know much about Euros)
Tier 2:
Porter
Bamba
Tier 3:
Jackson
Carter
Tier 4:
Bridges X2
Knox
Sexton
Young
Tier 5:
Diallo
Williams
That's my lotto right now. I'm obviously still not too high on the guards of this class.

Re: What is your personal big board right now?
Tier 1 (these are pretty interchangeable atm, Ayton's barely hanging on to the top spot by a thread for me right now)
Ayton
Doncic
Bagley
Tier 2
Porter
Bamba
Tier 3
Jackson Jr.
Young
Tier 4
Bridges
Bridges
Sexton
Knox
Carter
Tier 5
T.Brown
That's kind of where I'm at with the high quality prospects of this class right now. Guys like Duval, Walker Jr., maybe B.Brown I thought would be in there as well but they've disappointed in my eyes. I think Vanderbilt has a chance to sneak in to that 5th tier if he plays well once he returns.
I listed 13 prospects so I think someone like Diallo, McCoy, etc. might round out that lottery.

There are only 8 players I'd really bother ranking right now;
Luka Doncic
Michael Porter Jr
Trae Young
Marvin Bagley
Deandre Ayton
Miles Bridges
Mikal Bridges
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Knox and Sexton are probably next

Don't think anyone in that last group is a sure lottery pick yet, and unless Jarred Vanderbilt comes back and really tears it up I think the top 9 are separated enough from the field that I can't see anyone else moving in.

13. Diallo
I think there's a 3-man race for #1 spot. Ayton has the edge right now, but Doncic can easily take over. Porter Jr's injury is preventing us to see what he can bring to the table at the college level. Don't have Bagley higher than him because I think he's got a ceiling just as high as theirs, but his skills are a lot behind. Not all that high on Knox and Diallo, but I think they're one of those players who would excel more in the NBA environment than college. Don't have a 14) because not sure who to put there.

Ayton, Bagley
Porter, Bamba, Sexton, Young
Doncic, Miles Bridges, Carter Jr, Jackson
Mikal Bridges, McCoy, Musa, Knox, Trier, Mitchell Robinson (Is he eligible for combine? If not he drops)
TACO FALL!!!!
I'm not a fan of Williams or Diallo, Duval and G Alexander should stay for another year, and I'm not familiar with some of the international prospects outside of Musa and Bonga.
1)Magic- Bagley 2)Hawks- Doncic 3)Boston(from L.A.)- Ayton 4) Bulls- Young 5)Mavs- Porter jr

My issue with putting Ayton or Bagley in Tier 1 isn't that they can't be one of the best talents but I just think the "value" of a NBA player more n more is becoming dependent on that player's ability to run an offense like a quarterback in the NFL its receivers and running backs...players like LBJ, Harden...now Simmons, Giannis etc are essentially like QBs on their teams and the shooters and scorers are basically like wide receivers and running backs but so much of the team's overall success is dependent on the decisions they make and their ability to run the show. Of course in basketball the player who runs the offense is expected to contribute to scoring themselves more than a QB but it's just the general premise.
Guys like Ayton or Bagley at least at this point don't look to be the kind of players that are going to run an offense but be a player that's a dangerous weapon in it like a wide receiver or running back in football but ultimately the greatest value is the QB making the decisions which is why I have Porter Jr, Doncic above everyone else because I feel fairly confident that an offense can be run through either guy. Trae Young may even be in the same category but I'm always leery of a smaller player having success at the college level adjusting to the size and speed of the NBA.
I just think because the league has become less out about individual iso play and more about ball movement and finding the open man, that moving forward the most valuable players are the guys running and setting up the offense and you absolutely need great weapons (like WRs and RBs) that can score to make you look great and that can execute in big moments but they aren't the biggest factor in a team's success. Sorry for a slight rant but it's just how things are trending and I thought I'd explain why Ayton and Bagley aren't in my top tier even if they have a top tier talent, it's their overall value to a team that puts them a notch under imo.

Tier 1
Luka Doncic
Tier 2
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Trae Young
Tier 3
DeAndre Ayton
Michael Porter Jr.
Marvin Bagley
Tier 4
Mohamed Bamba
Mikal Bridges
Then we get into one or more tiers that feature Troy Brown Jr., Wendell Carter, Collin Sexton, Miles Bridges, Kevin Knox, Jontay Porter, Daniel Gafford, Dzanan Musa, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Omer Yurtseven, Landry Shamet, Robert Williams and some other notable omissions. All of those players can certainly move up a tier although only Brown, Sexton, Bridges and Knox seem as likely candidates for that for the time being because they have the most ‘in-season upside‘, imo.
As usual I can see that we're thinking alike. We are confident in the impact of certain player profiles while at the same time being skeptical of some others. I can see this by being high on Jackson and liking Mikal Bridges as a mid-lottery pick, while at the same time being more skeptical of Ayton and Bagley.
So, there's no one better to have the following conversation with. I used to have Bamba ranked extremely high, as high as 2nd behind Doncic going into the season. But then I've grown skeptical of Bamba somewhat over issues I've written long posts about – mainly poor hands, deficient coordination, and very little on-ball skills (passing is almost non-existent, ball handling and footwork are rudimentary at best, his shooting has ways to go). Add to this some remaining doubts about the effectiveness of his perimeter defense and I've become growingly wary of his ability to stay on the floor when teams go small – he'd have to really add strength (to work effectively on the glass and the post), improve his hands, and develop some moves to get closer to the basket. Possible, but hardly a given. This is the main reason why he dropped a lot on my board despite me loving Bamba for his attitude and intelligence.
At the same time, I'm more comfortable ranking Ayton and Bagley a little higher. I still very much doubt that they'll become top players in the league, but I'm confident that they're going to be really useful players with some upside. For Ayton, I started seeing him for what he is and can be instead of looking at him for what he could and should be.
– Ayton should be a dominant defender with his tools, but he isn't and I have no illusions that he'll ever become one. His help defense instincts and timing are way too poor and underdeveloped, he's not going to develop them enough to dominate the NBA with them. But he is, by all means, a hard-working player and has shown me two things I've been previously skeptical about: a) his good on-ball defense, even out on the perimeter and b) his willingness to play physical and make use of his advantages, at least on the boards and when he's close to the rim.
– Bagley has shown too little on defense – and not enough shooting skills to make up for it - to be considered a top 3 prospect for my liking. He still looks lost on defense, even though he has shown a little improvement in this regard, and his impact on that end aside from his defensive rebounding has been mediocre at best. I'd expect him to struggle with more PnRs in the NBA but with his effort level and athleticism he still has a decent chance to not be a negative on defense. On offense, much of his points come from plays I doubt will translate to the NBA (mostly catching the ball deep in the post and put backs). But he has shown some on-ball skills, especially some good post moves and ball handling on his drives from the top of the key, that will make him a really useful offensive player when you add his athleticism, size and effort. Not a superstar on offense, but even a highly useful offensive player with average defense would warrant a top 3-5 pick in most drafts. I like this draft a lot, so he might be just outisde the top 5, but I currently struggle to rank him lower than 6th unless Bamba makes another leap. At the same time, leapfrogging Ayton and Porter is very much in play for him.
Your thoughts on the matter would be highly appreciated. Maybe you're reaching a different conclusion, or you see different things, that make me re-think my stance on those three players in particular.

Just some general thoughts on a couple of those guys. Noting that I'm not a big follower of college ball and really have only watched a couple games for each.
Jackson - Think we see the same things here, high tier defensive prospect, with some touch and looks like a quick learner. About all you can ask for in such a young big man.
Young - Higher risk/reward with him. The physical concerns here more legitimate, can he finish inside? Even a poor mans Steph is a All-star though, and I think he's the first prospect to really deserve the comparison.
Bamba - Almost entirely hinges on his defensive potential for me. Someone I have a moderate amount of respect for as a scout think's he's the best defensive prospect he's seen since Robinson (a bit crazy I think, but hey, he's far more involved with the high school/college scene than I am). For your doubts - I feel pretty good about him on the perimeter and as far as adding a bit of strength to control the glass (I think he already looks like he'll be quite good on the glass, pretty good positioning imo combined with that ridiculous length).
Mikal - I'm iffiest on his placement, has by far the lowest ceiling of guys I listed, but I feel pretty good about what I'll get (defense, spot-up shooting).
Ayton/Bagley - Sounds like I'm even lower on he/Bagley's defense. I firmly don't expect either to put it together on that end. Both very talented so could certainly be wrong (also impressed with Ayton's skill level). Bagley strikes me as more preying on lower tier athletes to get his offense.
I bought a boat.
