His % from deep in HS against lesser defenders was better at 36% so it could have played a part, but probably not a significant one. But that being said GM's could talk themselves into taking him higher if they think it was a major factor. I'm not sold it was, and it's not like he was shooting elite 3 point % in HS and dropped to a terrible 27% on the year in INDY.He did drop by 9% though./

I’m a fan of Langford. Reminds me of when Tatum was drafted and everyone kind of wrote him off as a top prospect. I wouldn’t be mad if he ends up being the 5th pick in the draft. I really like his potential. I really like his offensive repertoire. He has good fakes, good moves in the triple threat/post, can dribble the ball, creates a lot of space off the dribble, uses his length to finish around the rim and finish through contact. He’s a really skilled player. Like more skilled than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was and I think they’re similar players in terms of not being super athletic, having great pace and patience and not being a great shooter, but possibly a better standstill shooter with more space and less attention. I also think he has potential defensively, when he tries he’s not bad, just doesn’t always have the effort.

It would make some sense. A guy with his skill level can usually shoot.

His shooting was an issue this year, so I'm not surprised to hear that he was dealing with an injury. He had his hand wrapped up for most of the year.

This year was a disappointing year for my Hoosiers, but respect to Romeo. He easily could've gotten surgery and shut it down to protect his future. Instead, he battled it out. Good luck in the pros, Romeo!

I'm sure Langford's got tweaks to make beyond the hand 'excuse', but I have no doubt it had a part to play in his shooting woes this season.

I think this news gives him a tad more benefit on upside, and he's got a pretty well-rounded game otherwise. Could go really high given the dropoff outside the top 4.
