Really interesting players declaring with agents. Really like Marcus Derrickson. He might honestly get drafted. Especially since this class is thin at power forward. He also played under Patrick Ewing, who I am sure has made calls around the league.

What exactly is the point of a 3rd (or more) round?

Robert Williams and DJ Hogg both in with agents. I like Hogg and I think he has a good chance to get drafted. I just wonder if he’ll stick.

Georgetown's Marcus Derrickson has entered and hired an agent. Honestly, if he gets in real good shape (lose 10 lbs and firm up his body), I think he can be a good stretch 4 in the NBA. And if his fellow junior teammate, Jessie Govan - decides to enter the draft, I think he'll make it. They're both good offensive players. Defense? Not so much. But Govan is disciplined on D, and uses his big body well. He's just somewhat deliberate (slow).

I actually like this. I don’t think he would have gone very high this year. Next year he has a good chance to be close to a lottery pick.

Elie Okobo declaring for the draft. The Nets in particular have been scouting him pretty heavily. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is taken at the end of the first round by the Nets. I would also keep an eye on him as someone who can rise. He has had huge games with a lot of scouts watching.

Very well rounded player, I like him a lot. Definitely deserves to be a 1st, imo, though probably 25-30.

Derrickson is a good offensive player, bit of a two-motion shot, but he has a good track record with it, he can pass also, too bad that he has really not much in terms of vertical explosion and he is really bad on D

Apparently Govan has also declared. Here's a real good list from NBAdfraft.net listing everyone who's declared, whether they've hired an agent, and where the author thinks they'll go in the draft. http://www.nbadraft.net/2018-nba-draft-early-entry-page It also has a list of undecideds and a list of those who announced they won't declare.

Not sure how accurate this is though. It has Wendell Carter declared with an agent.

GimmeDat wrote:Mike Schmitz just tweeted about a Euro that just declared - Giorgos Kalaitzakis. Don't know a thing about him. He's born in 1999, PG/SG, 6'6 or 6'7 with 6'10 wingspan. Schmitz's breakdown on DX says he's talented on ball, a bit sub-par athletically, does nothing off-ball, poor defensive effort but gets by with natural feel and length. Potential lies in his ability to develop in to a lead guard.

First glance - Schmitz's notes really put me off. Needs the ball in his hands, discipline seems poor. However, watching some footage, I do have to say, I really like his size and shot making ability.

He was supposedly just measured at 6-7 with a 7-1 wingspan.

I'm mixed on Tillie. I'm not sure I see a high-level prospect. I see a versatile back-up PF a la Jerebko, Casspi, Bertans, etc. Maybe he becomes a dependable scorer like a David Lee.

What do people think about him?
